What I Got:
Upon opening my Bezel Box, I was greeted with a cute card, reminding me that I’m a “total babe.” I love the positive little compliments on the Bezel Box greeting cards; they always brighten my day!
On the back of the greeting card, the Bezel Box stylist provided 4 different outfit options of what to potentially pair the jewelry with. These looks included 1 brunch outfit, 1 work outfit, 1 everyday outfit, and 1 date night outfit. While none of these looks really represented my personal style, I still enjoyed seeing the various ways the jewelry could be coordinated with different outfit types.
This jewelry set is bold and unique – it has a textured, bohemian quality to it that makes a statement without being flashy. The jewel-toned cool colors of blue, purple, and green make a complementary combination, which would look great with the solid neutral colors in an outfit.
I love the fringe!! It’s on-trend right now, and it adds some dimension to the jewelry. Also, it tickles!
I love the audacious shine, texture, and coloration of this necklace- it reminds me of a peacock! Additionally, the long length leaves room for layering, which is always a fun option!
Here’s my look incorporating both pieces! Since none of the options from the styling card resonated with me, I decided to go in a slightly edgier direction. I paired the jewelry with a solid black top, a black faux leather jacket, a thin black choker, and some berry purple lipstick in order to make all of the colors coordinate and pop.
The Verdict: Since I primarily wear darker clothing, I love jewelry that can add a splash of color to my look! While this set seemed to have more of a “bohemian” feel to it, I love pairing it with edgy pieces to challenge the styling stereotypes and create a fresh look. Additionally, since the retail value of the Bezel Box jewelry ranges from $60-$80, I think this Bezel Box Mini included a pretty reasonable deal for 2 (lead and nickel free!) jewelry pieces. I’m excited for next month’s box!!
