DAILYLOOK is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service similar to Stitch Fix, Wantable Style Edit, and Trunk Club. When you sign up, you take an in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. Your stylist handpicks items based on your preferences and they generally range from $50-$300.
Before your box ships, DAILYLOOK sends you a preview, where you can remove items and let them know why. You also have the option of looking through their website and favoriting items that they will consider adding to your boxes.
The fee for this service is $40, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $40 fee from the total. You can skip a month anytime.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

DAILYLOOK February 2019 Review
Inside my box was an envelope with information, invoice, and a return bag. Inside the envelope was this letter from my stylist, Lisa. She notes a couple of the pieces sent, why they were chosen, and how to style them.
I also received a packing slip that lists each item and the price it would cost to keep each. I received a total of 8 items this month.
I also received a prepaid return label, bag, and instructions. You have five days to decide what you'd like to keep or return. Once I decided, I headed over to my online account to let DAILYLOOK know which items I'd be keeping vs. returning. It also gave me the opportunity to provide feedback on what I liked and disliked.
Gorjana Chloe Stud Earrings, Silver - Retail Value $35
This is the first time I've received jewelry in my Daily Look box! I love these studs. They're simple, silver, and pretty - just my style. I don't have any studs that look like this already so I'm keeping these.
Mystree Round Neck Popcorn Knit Sweater - Cost to Keep: $78
This sweater is so comfortable. It's a great basic, soft, classic sweater in a color (chocolate) that I don't actually have much of in my wardrobe. The fit is right and the quality is nice as well.
Sanctuary Pull-On Trooper Pant - Cost to Keep: $119 (found on sale here for $59)
I know Spring is supposed to be around the corner, but considering we had freezing rain this morning and snow this afternoon, it's hard to imagine wearing a pair of shorter pants like this soon. I like them! They feel comfortable and I think they'd have some great styling potential in warmer months, like a tee and sneakers. (And FYI - Daily Look does a price match to the brand's website prices if you contact them about the difference when you check out.)
Mystree Cowl Neck Tie Cuff Top - Cost to Keep: $68
I wasn't sure what I thought about this top at first but it has grown on me! I think it's cute, comfortable, but a little different with a nice, stretchy fabric (though I'm not sure if I love this kind of striping on me).
Jenny Classic Plaid Button-Up - Cost to Keep: $68
This is much more my style. I think the next size up would fit me better because this fabric has no stretch, but even so, I like the cut and pattern of this button-down top.
Mystree Open Front Lightweight Long Cardigan, Mocha - Cost to Keep: $108
Yes! I really like this outfit. The neutral color of this duster-length cardigan makes it really versatile. The knit fabric is very soft and is light enough for layering without adding any bulk. This is an item I can see carrying me through the rest of Winter into Spring until it warms up.
Mystree Open Front Speckled Long Cardigan, Black Multi - Cost to Keep: $108
I love being wrapped up in this cardigan. The material used for this knit is so soft! It also has some good weight to it, which contributes to how warm and cozy it is. There's lots of stretch to this, and I think I'd reach for this often.
Velvet by Graham & Spencer Striped Flare Sleeves Sweater - Cost to Keep: $289
I really like the cut of this sweater; I think the shape is really flattering. I had high expectations when I saw the brand and price for this sweater. However, I'm not totally sure if this feels like a closet staple that I would invest that much into, but I do like it. I have mixed feelings about the stripes but they have also grown on me somewhat. It would be an easy top to throw on with jeans and black boots and go!
Vero Moda Turtleneck Quilted Zip-Up Jacket, Olive - Cost to Keep: $85
This is a very nice quality jacket! It is very warm. I like the color, too. Unfortunately, I just don't wear short coats like this because I don't love the way they look on me, and frankly, if it's cold enough to need something this warm in MI I usually appreciate a longer style (and probably a hood, too).
Tanner Bomber Jacket with Fill, Olive - Cost to Keep: $118
And another olive jacket, though a different style. This bomber jacket felt expensive and has fill so it keeps in a little extra heat. Unfortunately, I had to send this back, too, because the length in the torso and sleeves on my tall frame didn't wow me. It's also not quite my style. It's a style I think would look great on someone else, and I would have been willing to try it out a little more had the fit been perfect.
Verdict: This DAILYLOOK box was pretty good. I've had some great months from them, and I'm happy this month but I feel like several items are somewhat off from my style or the fit wasn't right. That being said, I love the earrings, I really like the cardigans, and the sweaters were pretty nice, too! I am always happy with the quality of the items they send, and their customer service has been helpful and quick to respond, too, which is obviously appreciated.
To Wrap Up:
Can I still get this box if I sign up today? You can sign up for your first month's box now, but your selections will look different than mine.
Value Breakdown: For $40 a month, I received ten styles that came to $1,86 in retail value. I can keep or return any of the pieces with free shipping both ways! If I do keep anything, the $40 styling fee will be deducted from my order.
