FeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review

FeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil Boxed FrontFeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil Unboxed Front

Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil, 0.5 oz – Estimated Value $26.60 (buy the full-size version for $53.19)

If using facial oils makes you nervous, this would be a great one to try- it isn’t greasy and the texture actually reminds me a lot of a thick serum that sank into my skin quickly. I am a little bummed that such a pricy facial oil would have Benzyl Alcohol and fragrance near the top of the ingredients list though. Also, I *think* this is half the size of the full-size version. The full-size is 30 mL and 1.01 oz, but if you look at the box you’ll see this says “15 ml, 1.01 oz.” Not too sure what happened there, but I don’t think this is a full ounce.

Inika Vegan Lipstick in Pink Poppy, Full-Size! - Retail Value $20.67 (AUD $29)

This lipstick is super nourishing thanks to the Certified Organic Avocado, Jojoba, and Argan oils that this is made with it. This definitely won’t last as long as a matte lipstick, but if you don’t mind reapplying this is super comfortable to wear.

FeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Cowshed Knackered Cow Relaxing Bath & Shower Gel Front

Cowshed Knackered Cow Relaxing Bath & Shower Gel, 3.38 oz – Estimated Value $7.98 (buy the full-size version for $23.94)

This shower gel smells heavenly- it is a blend of lavender and eucalyptus that instantly soothes my mind when I breathe it in. I like that this can be used to soap up and get clean or as a bubble bath before bed to relax.

FeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Sister & Co. Activated Charcoal Deep Cleanse Detoxifying Soap Bar Boxed TopFeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Sister & Co. Activated Charcoal Deep Cleanse Detoxifying Soap Bar Top

Sister & Co. Activated Charcoal Deep Cleanse Detoxifying Soap Bar, Full-Size! - Retail Value $16.97 (£13.00)

This is such a pricy bar of soap! It’s designed to be used on your face and is made with activated bamboo charcoal, coconut, sweet almond, and olive oils. I stay away from using coconut oil on my face because coconut oil is comedogenic, but I have enjoyed using this on my chest and arms, places I will occasionally get a rogue pimple. It isn't drying, but it definitely leaves me feeling clean!

FeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Lily Lolo Eye Shadow Brush 1 TopFeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Lily Lolo Eye Shadow Brush 2 Front

Lily Lolo Eye Shadow Brush – Retail Value $9

This purse-sized shadow brush is the perfect size for having a quality brush with you on the go. It picks up powder easily and blends shadow smoothly.

FeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Elemis Superfood Facial Wash Boxed FrontFeelUnique The Vegan Beauty Edit Review February 2019 - Elemis Superfood Facial Wash Unboxed Front

Elemis Superfood Facial Wash, Full-Size! - Retail Value $33.25

This was what I was most excited about in the box- a full-size Elemis cleanser! I have enjoyed everything I have tried from Elemis, but this cleanser fell a little flat for me. It didn’t do a good job of removing my makeup so it would need to be used in a double cleansing routine, and while it was gentle it wasn’t anything special. You can find more affordable cleansers that do a better job.

The Verdict: This was my first experience with FeelUnique, and I think they did a great job of curating a quality vegan beauty lineup! Not only were all of the products new to me, but all of the brands except Elemis were too. I thought the sizes of the products included were generous, and I would definitely want to try out other curated FeelUnique boxes based on my experience with this one. Value-wise, this box has a total retail value of $114.47, which is a little below the promised value of $125.02 but still more than double the cost of the box.

The Wrap Up:
Can you get this box if you sign up today? Yes, this is still available!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $46.55 with free shipping and has a total value of $114.47, which means you are paying approximately the following per item:

  • Dr. Botanicals: $10.82
  • Inika: $8.40
  • Cowshed: $3.24
  • Sister & Co: $6.90
  • Lily Lolo: $3.66
  • Elemis: $13.52

What do you think of the FeelUnique Vegan Beauty Edit Box? Are you going to grab one?

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I’ve noticed lately a lot of Oils being called serums, yet when I read the ingredients, it’s nothing more and a blend of 3-4 different oils. I had a few of those Dr. Botanical “rose oils” in previous boxes and noticed fragrance of it at the top of the list as well so I just poured it in my tub as a bath oil instead of on my face.

I’ve received two of the Dr.Botanicals facial oil in the past & chose to use it on my décolletage instead of my face & i loved the results. Just an idea so it won’t go to waste

Great review!
Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil was such a disappointment. The word “oil” is so misleading, the product was like a sticky toner. I did not get this box, due to this product.

I noticed that some serums are labeled as oils. Recently, I was about to use a product labeled as an oil as the last step of my routine, but when I read the details of the product it had the word serum in its description… then I got confused. 😛

Yea, it was definitely not an oil. I swapped for it last year some time, and it really was sticky at first, but I actually really enjoyed the results. It wasn’t sticky after putting lotion over it
