Loot Anime "Dangerous" January 2019 Review
Included was a discount card for Hello Fresh.
There was also a card promoting the release of two new anime DVDs.
Loot Anime includes a poster in lieu of an info card. There's a product list with photos of each item on the back. This month, the poster is "Dangerous" themed.
Exclusive Sword Art Online Cooler Bag
I love when I get a super useful item in this box! This adorable insulted cooler is the perfect size for your daily lunch, as well as multiple drinks. I like the reserved grey color with the simple art on the front. It features Kirto and his in-game bride Asuna. Though I would never want to be kept stuck inside a video game, I am happy my lunch will be kept cold inside this lunchbox.
RWBY T-Shirt
I really like the design of this shirt. It is a basic white tee, except for the dynamic addition of Ruby Rose and her weapon, the Crescent Rose, in an action pose on the side. It is actually super pretty and I love that it is a more polished way to wear an anime fandom t-shirt.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Vol. 1 Manga - Retail Value $9.13
Yes!! I wish every month of Loot Anime came with a manga book. Books like these are how I began to love anime and manga when I was younger and they are by far my favorite way to get into a new series. This is the first volume in the Boruto series, a follow-up to the incredibly popular Naruto story. This is actually the story of his son, a boy who would rather play video games than train.
Exclusive Alita Battle Angel Motorball Figure
With the new movie (based on Yukito Kishiro's manga series) out in theatres now, I was happy to see something from this franchise included. This cute figure shows Alita competing in a dangerous sport called Motorball. The only thing more dangerous than this game is her attempt to live a normal life, as she is a cyborg who was found in a landfill then lovingly repaired.
Exclusive Yume Keychain
How cute is this little keychain featuring the Loot Anime mascot Yume? She is the perfect kawaii addition to any keyring.
The Verdict: The Loot Anime theme this month was "Dangerous", but my main takeaway was girl power! I absolutely loved every item this round. The lunchbox was so unexpected and useful, I am obsessed with my new Alita figurine, will be rocking my Ruby Rose t-shirt at the gym, and Yume is already hanging out with my keys. I am also looking forward to reading the Boruto manga when I get some spare time.
