Loved + Blessed “Great Expectations” February 2019 Review
Each box includes a theme card on the inside of the front lid of the box. This month’s theme is “Great Expectations” and is all about living in anticipation of the great things God has planned for you. We want to live each day with faith in the many promises God has assured us. And, in doing so, expect great things to happen in our lives. This card describes the theme in detail and is intended to be a keepsake and serve as a visual reminder to have great expectations.
The information card describes the items in this month’s box and their intended purpose. It encourages you to read more on the Loved + Blessed blog and invites you to fellowship with Loved + Blessed in their private Facebook group. It also highlights the charitable cause supported this month.
Mini Poster – Hope Against Hope
This mini poster reads “Hope against Hope”. It encourages us to remember that there is always hope. We can receive all that God has promised us if we just believe. Numerous biblical verses (like Mark 10:27, Matthew 19:26, Mark 14:36, and Luke 1:37) remind us that all things are possible for those who believe in the Lord.
Reminder Sticker – He Keeps His Promises
This month sticker reads "He keeps His promises”. He promises strength in Isiah 40:29-31. He promises to never leave us in Deuteronomy 31:8. He promises to meet all of our needs in Philippians 4:19). When you believe, God will fulfill every promise he has made to us.
Reminder Gift – “Good Things Happen” Tote
At Loved + Blessed, reminders gifts are intended to serve as a reminder and reinforce the month's topic. This month's box includes a tote that states “Good Things Happen”. This beautiful and sturdy tote is hot pink with glitter gold lettering, has a zippered closure and a zippered pocket inside. This tote can fit just about anything you'd want to carry around like gym clothes, books, or even groceries. It's even large enough to function as an overnight, weekend or diaper bag.
Encouragement Kit – Encouragement Card
At Loved + Blessed, encouragement kits are meant to be shared to pass along encouragement to others and brighten their day. This month, a pop-up card is included in the box to write a note to a family member, friend or stranger. The pop-up is a little odd, like a note inside of a note, but I think the card design is very nice and I'd be happy to receive this card from a friend. This was the same encouragement card including in last month’s box.
Scripture Card – Psalm 119:49-50
Psalm 119:49-50 is cited on this month’s scripture card.
"Remember your word to your servant,
For you have given me hope.

Your promise preserves my life."
Last month’s verse reminded us that during challenging times, God is faithful, merciful and compassionate so, don’t give up hope. We can take further comfort in the promises that God has made for us. He promised to never leave us, to give us strength and to supply all our needs. When facing tough times, we can lean on God's promises, never give up hope, expect great things and watch God do amazing things in our life.
Monthly Blog Post and Workbook
Each box includes a card (not pictured) that contains the information and password for accessing the monthly blog and workbook. This members-only content includes access to a library of resources, special events, and private sales. The blog further delves into the month's theme. The workbooks have been impressive. There is a lesson along with journaling prompts and activities for each week. I find a lot of value in this member exclusive content. It's often my favorite part of the box.
Private Facebook Group – Loved and Blessed Ladies
The private Facebook group offers a space to connect with other Loved + Blessed subscribers for fellowship and discussion. The Loved + Blessed founder Jamila often posts encouraging videos in the group which I enjoy.
Verdict: I look forward to receiving this box each month and each month I’m more and more impressed. This is my favorite faith-based box! It has a well thought out theme which is carried throughout all of the items in the box – even down to the color choices. I can tell that the Loved + Blessed team puts a lot of thought and effort into making sure each box is special. The tote included in this month’s box is really nice. I can’t wait to use it. I also love the poster and plan to hang it on my vision board as a reminder to never give up hope. The online workbook becomes available on the first of the month and I’m looking forward to digging into the weekly lessons. This box is only $19.99 and includes free shipping. It’s not an expensive box at all and I find it delivers a great deal of value to my life. I definitely think this box is worth the price.
