The Ms. Collection is a monthly clothing rental subscription for women. Your stylist puts a pack together based on your style profile and you keep it for as long as you like. When you are done wearing those pieces you send them back in the included pre-paid envelope. You have the option of buying any item at a special member discount price just in case you can’t bear to part with it.
The Ms. Collection has several different plans to best fit your needs. They also have The Mr. Collection for men.
This is the review for The Ms. Collection Premium Once a Month plan, which sends 4 items for $69 per month (plus free shipping).
Each pack includes 3-4 pieces of quality, designer, casual clothing for your everyday look. When you sign up, you answer questions about your style (size, colors, patterns, clothing type, etc.). An actual stylist puts your pack together so, even though your pieces are a surprise, they should work for you. You can leave feedback for your stylist to help make your next pack even better.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Ms. Collection Premium Once a Month Plan February 2019 Review
This month, my stylist Ashleigh sent a variety of items for this time of year when the weather is just weird. My pack includes a cute dress, a cozy sweater, and two other tops. Let's style these pieces!
The info card includes some instructions for the pack, a handwritten note from my stylist, and the retail value and member price.
London Times Ruffle Bell Sleeve Dress, 8 - Retail Price $99, Member Price $79.20
Ding, ding, ding, winner! First of all, I love this color. Secondly, I think the overall fit and shape of this dress is flattering and easily transitions from day to night. I'm not usually a fan of ruffles, but these are subtle and flirty. The fabric is a thick, smooth polyester with 3% spandex so it is comfortably stretchy. The matte finish doesn't make any lumps or bumps stand out and looks really nice paired with shiny accessories and leather-like fabrics.
Apricot Asymmetrical Off the Shoulder Top, M - Retail Price $52, Member Price $41.60
I don't really like the shape of this top on my body. It feels a bit balloon-ish and really exaggerates any roundness in my shoulders. Plus, my bra strap will show underneath the top's straps, and even when I put a fun color underneath, I'm not a fan. The 100% polyester fabric is slightly sheer and the light color seems to highlight anything underneath.
BB Dakota Christie Embroidered Front-Tie Sweater, M - Retail Price $100, Member Price $80
While I like the overall concept of this sweater, I feel like a few things are working against us being a perfect match. First, the tie-front hits at an awkward place and since it doesn't really have a function, just ends up looking weird. I tried tucking it in to hide it, but that didn't work either. Next, I couldn't get the turtleneck to fold right; it kept wanting to flip up as I moved. I am surprised at how much I liked the embroidery (which is well done) considering I don't typically go for that look.
Staccato Black V-Neck Tunic, M - Retail Price $41.25, Member Price $33
I really liked this top when I put it on; it paired well with these olive, moto leggings since it's tunic length and loose. Now that I see the pictures, I feel like it looks a little shapeless/big. The polyester chiffon is slightly sheer and wonderfully floaty and I love how neat the construction is. Something like this is really my perfect transitional piece. If I were to want to purchase this, I'd probably size down.
About Returns:
Each pack includes a pre-paid return envelope. When you are done with your pieces, just pop them in here and drop it off at the post office. The Ms. Collection will process your return and you’ll be ready to go for your next pack. (If you are purchasing anything, just leave them out of your return package.)
A note about cleaning: You don’t have to clean the pieces before sending them back. The Ms. Collection has everything cleaned once the pieces are returned. I didn’t notice any smell (including fragranced detergent which is good for those with sensitive skin), stains, or signs of wear. Actually, everything was in perfect condition!
The Verdict: I had such a killer pack from The Ms. Collection last month! This month was a bit less exciting. Don't get me wrong, the dress was a total winner and made several appearances throughout the time I had my pack. The rest of the items just didn't have the same oomph when I put them on. They were lovely, just not my style or best fit. Even when my packs aren't full of items I feel I can't live without, I think I learn a lot about how different styles work or don't work for me. Plus, I get the chance to put together lots of different outfits with the clothing I already have. The total retail value of this pack was $292.25 and I rented the items for $69 with free shipping.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The Ms. Collection picks clothing for you based on your style preferences so your pack will be different than mine. Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: Since this is a clothing rental service, the value really comes from being able to change up and try new, styled looks every month. I also get a chance to wear high-quality brands that I wouldn’t be able to spend this kind of money on often. There is always the option to buy an item for a discounted price if you love it. Basically here is what I paid to rent each item for the month (based on retail price):
- London Times Ruffle Dress - $23.37
- BB Dakota Embroidered Sweater - $25.61
- Apricot Off the Shoulder Top - $12.28
- Staccato Black Tunic - $9.74
