Wantable Fitness Edit January 2019 Review
When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. This is a note from my stylist. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.
This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $495. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $119. That's a deep discount!
Lola Princess Sleeveless Top by Lola Getts - Cost to Keep $56
This synthetic blend tank is really comfortable, and I really like the mesh panel on the back! As tanks go, it's fairly flattering on me, but I prefer sleeves and natural fibers. I don't think I will keep this one.
Can't Quilt You High Waisted Long Leggings by Beyond Yoga - Cost to Keep $99
As long as they are not shiny, black leggings are my go-to workout look because they are the most flattering. But, wearing plain black leggings day in and day out gets super boring, so I am always excited to get black leggings with a stylish twist! I love the quilted texture on these leggings! They are so cute! It's just a textured pattern, they are not actually quilted, but I think they just look so cool. They have a natural fiber feel but are in fact a synthetic blend. The compression is also excellent.
Getaway Crop Sweatshirt by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $88
How tall would I need to be for this to actually look like a cropped sweatshirt? I am a pretty short lady, but I'm long waisted, so usually cropped items actually look cropped. No matter, I'm glad it's not too long like many sweatshirts can be. This sweatshirt is a tightly knit cotton blend, so it is really warm and kind of heavy, yet still very comfortable. I like the contrast light gray inside the hood a lot, too. It's just enough detail to be subtly stylish. This would be perfect for keeping warm after a hard winter workout. Cute!
Movement Tee by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $58
I believe this tee was cut to fit snugly, but it just looks ill fitting on me, unfortunately. This is a cotton/spandex blend. I do think the detail on the back is cool, though.
G Force Tee by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $58
This is a lightweight cotton tee with really cool trim on the back! It's a light peach, such a light color that it is affecting the contrast on my camera. It is a pretty color, but it's not really a good color for my skin tone. The cut is also not flattering on me, unfortunately. It's a little too long.
Relaxed Pant with Side Piping by Activezone - Cost to Keep $48
I love these pants! They are really heavy poly blend pants with a sporty stripe down the side. The main reason I love them is that they fit like a glove and are the perfect length! They are also a good price for the high quality. I will get a lot of use out of these!
Techno Velour Track Jacket by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $88
What a snazzy track jacket! It's a really unique shade of navy, and the rose gold zipper is very stylish. Velour is not really my thing, and my workout wardrobe is mostly black, so this shade would not work. But, it fits well and it's a really fun, nice quality jacket.
The Verdict: This was another great box from Wantable Fitness Edit and was full of great pieces! I probably will not keep everything, but there were so many good choices! I especially liked the sweatshirt and the track pants. Plus the leggings were also awesome! Wantable Fitness Edit is a fun subscription. I am really enjoying building a solid workout wardrobe!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside was $495. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $376 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s a savings of about 24%. The average price per piece is $70.71.
