Here's my outfit this month! I love the navy and cranberry together.
Threads 4 Thought Jax Crop Top in Raw Denim, M - Retail Value $68 (on sale for $43.73)
The sports bra in this outfit is actually a crop top with a built-in shelf bra. I love the moto pintuck detail at the ribs and the simple crisscross straps. The fabric is made of 88% recycled polyester and 12% spandex, so it's stretchy but still offers supportive compression. It's also double-brushed which makes it feel super soft. My issue here is with the shelf bra; it tends to slide down with the weight of my boobs and pull the neckline down with it, making exposure a serious threat. I've modified tops with built-in bras before, so I may try it with this bra since I really like it otherwise.
Threads 4 Thought Moto Skinny Leggings in Raw Denim, M - Retail Value $88 (on sale for $56.73)
Made of the same material as the sports bra, these leggings are also sweat wicking and stretchy. I like the medium compression and the mid-rise, wide waistband. The cool pintuck details are along the shin area and make these otherwise plain leggings a little bit edgy. There aren't any big pockets here but there is a little hidden key pocket along the front of the waistband. Although I love the feel of this brushed fabric, it certainly likes to attract Nala's hair. 🙂 #DogMomLife
Vie Active Ceci Tank in Ruby, M - Retail Value $48
The ruby shade of this tank is such a nice compliment to the rich navy of the leggings and bra. It's made of 96% viscose and 4% spandex and is lightweight and slinky. I'm happy that the cut is tighter around the arms and floats away from my midsection. After a couple of wears, I'm noticing some piling at the area where my arm hits the side of my bust. It's not super visible but I know I'll need to wash it in a laundry bag to prevent further roughing up of the fabric.
Bonus: Headbands of Hope Traveler Tube Turban - Retail Value $17.85
Subscribers got a bonus item this month! Headbands of Hope is a company that makes all kinds of hair accessories. For each item sold, they donate a headband to a child with cancer. I love supporting companies that not only make great products but care for the well-being of others. This is HOH's Tube Turban style which is a long rectangular tube meant to be scrunched to your desired width. The seamless design can be worn so many different ways including as a scarf, ponytail holder, or wristband. I've even found myself pulling it over my ears during brisk walks.
The Verdict: My YogaClub box this month is really great. The moto details are cute and I love the color combo of the outfit. I also appreciate the bonus items with a charitable cause. My only issue is the built-in shelf bra in the crop top; I'll have to find a way to keep it from pulling the neckline down. Altogether, I received a value of $200, not including the bonus headband. I find the value breakdown (below) is similar to what I'd pay at outlets or TJMaxx but I enjoy curated outfits that come to my door. I get a chance to leave feedback for my stylist each month so that they can better understand my activewear needs.
