February 2019 'Aftermath' Fallout Crate Review
The February theme was 'Aftermath' featured 5 items.
It comes with an information card that details the items in the box.
The reverse side is a diagram of Atom's Judgment, arguably the most legit melee weapon in Fallout 4 and the weapon of choice for those chosen by Atom himself. This would look incredibly cool in a frame.
Ghoulish Perk Pin
Each month includes an exclusive pin featuring a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk. Each comes in a gold or rare black variant. This month is that quirky perk where those rads help rather than hurt you!
Irradiated Blood Ice Packs
These are pretty clever! Mimicking the blood packs you can find in the wasteland, these packs are filled with a lime green gel you can use to keep your lunch cool. In the game, if you drink this blood, it does give you rads, but it also restores some health. Choices choices...
New California Republic Flag
My husband has always wanted one of these flags! I was so excited to see this pretty large replica of such an iconic Fallout element. Love it or hate it, the NCR is one of humanity's last beacons of democracy and stability... depending on who you ask.
Liberty Prime Build A Figure Leg
We received the second piece of our Liberty Prime model. Depending on who you side with in the game, this is either a beacon of Brotherhood power or an almost indomitable enemy to be destroyed. These model pieces have been well made and highly detailed, so I can't wait to get the rest of the pieces!
Atom's Judgement Scale Replica
I love these scale replica weapons that have been coming in this crate. They are always highly detailed and really cool to display. This massive hammer is given to the Sole Survivor by The Children of Atom's Grand Zealot Richter. You know, if you decide to work with those crazies.
Glowing Sea T-Shirt
There seems to be a Children of Atom theme happening this box. Those loonies have chosen to hole up inside The Glowing Sea, an area with such high radiation you can't explore it until you build your supplies and strength up later in the game. I would never vacation there personally, but it sure is pretty to look at. I love fandom pieces like this that are clever and subtle, and totally wearable!
Verdict: I loved this Fallout Crate! My favorite items would easily be the flag and blood packs, though the shirt is also awesome. The weapons replica is really cool and well done, and I am excited to finish the build on the Liberty Prime as the year goes on. The Fallout series is one of my favorites and I love that this box includes such unique and exclusive items that can be enjoyed by anyone who loves this franchise, even if you are anti-NCR or you make a point to avoid those pesky Children of Atom at all costs!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You'll see the currently available theme on the landing page.
Value Breakdown: This box costs $39.99 ($34.99 + $5 shipping) so each of the 6 items has an average cost of $6.67
