FINDING FERDINAND Lip Stick in Nob Hill Red - Retail Value $30

This is one of those lipstick cases that you push in to release the lipstick - kind of like a makeup version of a fidget spinner. (I've been playing with it while I write this review!)

This is a highly pigmented cool red. It glides on easily, and has a slightly sheer/satin finish. I'm not one to normally rock bold red lip, but I did really like how this wore down into almost a stain. (Swatched in lower photo.)

IT COSMETICS Your Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection Face Palette - Retail Value $42

I LOVE IT Cosmetics, so this palette alone makes the box worth the cost for me!

The palette features 4 pressed powders: a blush, a bronzer, a highlighter, and a translucent setting powder.

Out of all the pressed powders in this palette are great matches for my skin tone, but the bronzer is my favorite. It's a warm matte bronze that feels silky going on my skin and blends beautifully - it's my ideal bronzer shade.

I appreciate that the highlighter is subtle to give you more of a luminous look than a shimmery one. The setting powder didn't reduce the appearance of pores for me (but that's a hefty challenge) but it did help mattify my skin.

TARTE Dream Big Eyeshadow Palette - Retail Value $30

Two palettes from two brands I love in one box? Score!

This tarte palette has a mix of shimmers and mattes. I love that you could do a neutral eye look with the browns only in this palette, or mix in some color. And I can never be mad at a palette for smelling like chocolate!

The pigment is good throughout, and in general I found them easy to blend. Here they are swatched beneath the lipstick and the IT Cosmetics palette:

SON & PARK Beauty Filter Cream Glow - Retail Value $32

This brand is new to me and I love that this facial cream jar comes with its own little spatula:

This beauty filter cream is designed to help plump and hydrate your skin, and give your skin a pearlescent glow. The effect is subtle once it fully absorbs, but for a second when I was applying it to my face I was worried I would be super shimmery! The texture feels rich, but absorbs quickly into a matte finish - a perfect base for applying makeup. (And good to know - this is made with floral extracts and I detected a rose scent.)

TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Essence - Retail Value $27

When I first saw "watery essence" in the name of this product, I assumed the product would pretty much look like water. Nope!

It's actually more of a gel/cream hybrid:

No surprise, it's hydrating! It's also light weight and absorbs quickly. Ipsy refers to it as part serum/part toner. You apply it first before the rest of your skincare routine to help your skin better absorb serums and moisturizers. I've been using it as a new part of my skincare routine for the past week and I'm a fan - and I *think* my skin feels more hydrated than usual.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $161. I think that's incredible for a $25 box that sends only full-size items! I discovered a few new skincare favorites and added two great palettes to my collection!

April plus spoilers where are you?!

Of course I love my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. I got lots of great stuff in there. I don’t get, though, why the Glow Cream has a spatula. It really serves no purpose. I’m going to have to use my fingers anyway to smooth it in, so why wouldn’t I just use my fingers to take it out of the jar. It’s just a really bougie touch. I also found that the spatula took too much out and gave me that over-glowy, wet look mentioned above.. Once I used my fingers instead of this tool, I got the right amount and it looked nice.

Its to help lessen the chances of bacteria growing in the jar. Your fingers will “dirty” it more than the spatula. You really don’t need much of this. I scraped it off the lid, for 3 days worth lol.

I just got my March box yesterday. And I’m impressed. I love the Sun Beam from Benefit. Mine has no shimmer though which is nice for a change. I also received the Huda palette in Mauves. I love it. The real Her in red is very impressive. I’m not a fan of Real Her but this lipstick is bomb. I also got the Five Farrah brush collection and a full size anti-aging lotus moisturizer.
I got the same as you Liz for my February box but I didn’t get the essence. I want to try that now. I received the Murrad vitamin oil. It’s actually really nice too.

I got 2 palettes, Tarte & Maelle bronzer. That IT palette looks great too but I wish I got that TonyMoly instead of the Hanalei lip scrub. I just find that I never have time or remember that extra step!

This here would be my ideal box, as I really want to try the serum. I did get the IT face palette and love it, especially the bronzer, so no complaints. Also I’m kinda digging the packaging of the lipstick lol.

This makes me totally want that face palette (I got the Nyx blush palette in mine, which is fine because love Nyx). I really like the lipstick even though it was red; I found I could put on a light layer and it work well. I do wish Tarte would stop trying to smell like chocolate, though. I love the smell of real chocolate, but chocolate scent makes me sick.

Just got my plus a couple days ago and regular should be here tomorrow if I don’t receive a delayed shipping notice like almost every month. March was my least favorite plus box, I gave away the mascara & highlighter. I just have too many. With that being said, I still absolutely love plus over all other subs like it. Accidently signed up for a year of Boxy and really wish I hadn’t of.

I would have added the IT palette and the Tony Moly essence, but those weren’t options. I received the IT brush (love), the NYX palette (don’t love), the lipstick, tarte palette, and the glow cream. Wow did that glow cream leave my skin shiny. Like covered in sweat shiny. Not good.

Not heavy. I tent to prefer a touch of glow in my primer instead since I apply a very tiny amount of primer.

I never got February’s box. I was billed pn the 1st too and just yesterday they sent me a tracking number and refunded me 21.35. Weird amount but okay and they are out of almost everything so I’m wondering what I’ll get

Why can’t I get plus? I resubbed to Ipsy in October and still haven’t been given the option. I have emailed Ipsy 3 times and nothing but empty promises. Then I read about people getting it with no issue on here who have signed up this year.

Do you share your spoilers with FaceBook I believe that to get IpsyPlus people who get off the waitlist share their boxes every month .Why I say this is because I had just started subbing to Ipsy in July 2018 and I was waitlisted like everyone else then I sent a email and asked if I could get Ipsy Plus and got of the waitlist right away .. I have been with Ipsy for over 3 years. I still can not get it. I am so disappointed at how they are doing this. If they do t have enough for the ones who have been long time customers they shouldn’t do it at all. After all the crap samples they send month after month and now this. I have bout had it. They are going to get a very long winded email from me.

Hi I’m not sure if this will help you or not , But I have Friends that been with Ipsy for You without being offered upgrade. What they found was they for some reason do not upgrade any Account that’s Paid in Advance there Billing for Ipsy Plus is Month to Month They cannot upgrade different Accounts .You have to change Your Account the Way they did some that did not want to wait , They Refunded the Money on Months already paid for , And upgraded to Glam Plus on Month to Month Basis

Olivia: I haven’t been with IPSY for quite awhile bu wanted to try their Glam Bag PLUS, so I subbed for the regular box and then after 1 month I emailed them and asked if I could get on the wait list. They said YES and after 1 more month…BINGO, I am getting the PLUS. So I suggest you write to them. Their CS is phenomenal and they will jump through hoops to make you happy.

I’m so confused… if you ‘upgrade’ to Glam Bag Plus, do you still get the normal Glam Bag? So $35 a month?

Victoria- when you get to GB Plus you can keep the regular bag, or ditch it.

You don’t have buy both the $10 Glam bag, & the $25 GB+. You can just the GB plus $25.

However, There is a wait list for the GB+ ($25) which you have to sub to the regular bag until you get a spot on the GB+ ($25) subscription. At that time you can choose to have both or just GB+ ($25).

I’d share your spoilers to FB and email them to get off the wait list.

I read in their FAQ that when they upgrade you, they add GBP so you do get both. You have to cancel the regular bag if you no longer want it. This is a change

No, if you get just the plus it is 25, unless you do want both and sign up to receive both subs. Only then is it 35/mo. ☺

That is the exact box I was supposed to receive, but they sent the wrong o e in error and no longer had the face cream or essence. I recieved the tarte palette and IT palette so I was happy and they gave me a partial refund. Great customer service that responded quickly on a Sunday. IGBP has been killing it this year. I love every month so far!

The Chok Chok is one of my favorites and fun fact Chok-chok (촉촉): Literally translating into “damp” or “moist,” this term refers to super hydrated, dewy skin.was

I don’t usually choose red lipstick often but this one was sheer and nice. The Son & Park cream glow is nice it does have a pinky red appearance but it fades quickly.

The lipstick click mechanism is similar to Axiology without the pretty gold tube. The palettes were nice and the IT is great for subtle everyday makeup.

I have a pop up derm store and that wont leave the website. I’m on an android Samsung Galaxy, mobile page. It covers most of my screen. Can’t even read what I’m typing, so I hope it makes sense

Same. I’m on iOS Safari and have an Ipsy ad that covers most of the screen. The close button is tiny and very difficult to click too. I understand that MSA needs to make money but this type of ad is very disruptive and off-putting.

What a dream box 😍

I got the Tarte palette and the lipstick too. I wish it wasn’t red!! The formula is amazing…very moisturizing. I hardly ever like lipsticks but I loved the formula on this. I wish it wasn’t so pricey because I want it in every wearable shade.

I got the $48 IT brush and I don’t know what I was expecting, a lot for $48 I guess, and it didn’t seem any more special than your average brush. I prefer my Luxies.

I got the lipscrub. I wasn’t excited for it but it does work well on my forever dry lips, it tastes good and the size of it is awesome.

And then my least favorite product to receive ever….that awful NYX blush palette. Smelled funny and has no pigment. Definitely not a high end product.

I’ve received my March box as well. Another round of disappointing brushes and red lippie, but I got the shade of Huda I wanted, a full sized moisturizer which I needed and that Sun Beam bronzing stuff which was neither here nor there for me and I think it’s a total waste of packaging for the amount that is in it.

I’m still living GBP though because I almost always enjoy what I get and the stuff I do like always makes the box worth it.

Now, can we pretty please see some more spoilers for April 😁

I haven’t received my glam plus bag either. It was supposed to arrive yesterday however I received a message saying my package experienced a delay and will need an additional 24-48 hours. I want my bag now!! If I don’t get it by Monday I’m contacting UPS to find out what’s the issue.

I know it’s frustrating. For some reason This DHL is always having delays. Perhaps in the summer time they won’t have so many delays but idk 😐
