Gen:lock is not anime and Yume is their mascot, so no real anime in this month. I guess it is a skip again. I am getting worried since I have 5 more prepaid boxes and the crates are getting worse and worse.I hope the company stays in business long enough for me to get what I foolishly paid for.

I didn’t say it wasn’t good, taste is subjective, but it is an American made cartoon in an anime style same as Rooster Teeth’s RWBY. Lootanime says it is anime and manga focused, neither Gen:lock or Yume is actual anime or manga focused even if they take inspirations from anime style. Just because it is mech doesn’t make it anime. That is like saying Karate Kid is a martial arts movie. If they wanted to include it with an anime title, like they previously did with RWBY, I would understand, but to list NO anime titles at all in this box, is the same when they gave all those firefly crate subscribers random Lootvault junk. Which also may have had some cool stuff, but still not what people subscribed and paid for.

No. Gen Lock was created by America and may be anime inspired but it is not an anime. Yeah yeah I know, anime is an abbreviation of animation but we cal all agree that “anime” has become a collection name of Japanese cartoons, whether they are in anime-style or not. Gen Lock is not an anime, Alita is not an anime, and no one gives a crap about their mascots except for themselves.
I am so happy I stopped at the last good loot anime box about a year ago. It’s been pretty crappy ever since.
