T-Post is a super cool Swedish t-shirt subscription box that tells stories through words and wearable art. The result is a new twist on the concept of a magazine. With each new shirt comes a new story. According to their site:
A T-post story can be an in depth interview with someone we think is interesting (like Ricky Powell or Eric HAZE), or a stories about how we never really get our hands dirty anymore, or how the only way to become truly cool is by hanging out in nature, where nobody can see you. In all our stories we tend to openly reflect on what’s happening around us in a time when everything is moving so fast that we hardly ever take the time to.
The t-shirt designs are all unique collaborations with artists, designers, and brands. Their site mentions past collaborations with "Alife and Staple, as well as organizations like TEDx and Fatta Man."

T-Post "Baddest Gang" Tee Design #147
Here's what the tee looks like. I think it's cool that they switch things up with their designs. I've gotten a lot of short-sleeve tees, but also pocket tees and other variations. This one is a black and white baseball tee with 3/4 length sleeves and a design that's embroidered rather than printed on.
It's the inside of the shirt, of course, that sets T-Post apart. Inside every T-Post shirt, they print a short essay or article about a new topic. That topic serves as the inspiration of the shirt design, too. This month's piece, "The Emperors of Rome", talks about a mafia organization in Italy. Not the Sicilian mafia, but a slightly less notorious organization. Hence, "the second baddest gang around these parts."
It's admittedly something I wouldn't have ever thought to read up on myself, but I like having the excuse to do so here. My only qualms would be that the embroidery interfered with some of the text, making it a little tricky to read and that the red ink is semi-visible through the back of the shirt. That might be a design decision? But it's hard to say for sure.
Here it is on me.
The Verdict: T-Post is definitely the most unique clothing subscription I've tried. The tees are edgy and often a little irreverent. They're also super comfortable, made from breathable, sturdy cotton. I feel like this baseball tee is the most "me" shirt that I've gotten. I really like the crafty feel of the stitching and the black and white palette.
