Haworthia Fasciata “Zebra Plant”

What an interesting plant! As soon as I unwrapped this plant, I was eager to touch along the leaves to see what they felt like. The points were sharp and the white parts felt raised. This plant is supposed to get bigger and wider, making the white stripes really more zebra-ish. I am excited to see this plant grow for sure.

Agavoides Christmas “Echeveria”

I can see where this plant gets its Christmas name – the green and red colors are really in the holiday spirit. This plant is what I think of when I think of succulent. The red should really spread as the plant matures and I am really excited to see it.

Haworthia Reinwardtii “African Pearls”

Like the other haworthia plant I received in this month’s box, I was eager to just touch this plant! I get it may be a little odd, but the textures on the plants are really enticing. The picture of this plant on the description card shows that our little plant will get pretty tall and looks stacked.

Senecio Rowleyanus “String of Pearls”

Anna received this plant September last year. I tried to see if I had a string, like hers, that was stuffed in there, but I do not. I guess this plant is still pretty premature. Either way, it is such a cool looking plant and I am excited to see how it grows.

Verdict: I am pretty happy with my plants this month, I got some super original, interesting looking plants! I also wanted to point out that each month my plants are delicately wrapped in bubble wrap and a ton of tape (opening with a gentle hand is a must!). My plants usually arrive healthy, just thirsty but never really dead.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today?  Yes! Your assortment may vary a bit depending on how many plants you choose to subscribe to.

Value Breakdown: This four plant box costs $20.00 (at retail) + $7.35 shipping to Texas, or $27.35 total. That means each plant cost an average of $6.83 after shipping.

Carol- I have a more mature Zebra plant that I got from the grocery store. It’s really awesome when the “stalks”(?) get fatter. Everyone comments on it at work.

Oh it does…I just tried the link. It’s possible they raised prices between sending this box and now, as my invoice shows $25. I will make an update to the review.
