Wantable Fitness Edit February 2019 Review
When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. This is a note from my stylist. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.
This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $405. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $101. That's a deep discount!
Lola Flutter Back Long Sleeve Top by Lola Getts - Cost to Keep $66
This cotton blend knit top is super comfortable, and the split back is really stylish! I am not in love with the color, but that's just me. My main concern with this top is that I do a lot of yoga, and I feel like I will definitely go into a pose that will leave me exposed!
City Jogger by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $68
It's really hard to tell the color of these cotton blend knit joggers in these pictures for some reason, but they are navy blue. They are kind of lightweight and would be comfortable for light workouts and lounging in the warmer months. They are super comfortable!
10K Protech Tank by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $54
This synthetic blend tank is SO different! Instead of being split in the back, it's split on the sides. It's like the front and back of the tank are two completely separate overlapping panels. I think it looks really cool, actually! But I have to wonder how it would perform in an actual workout. I think it would lead to more overexposure...
Printed Mesh Insert Legging by Activezone - Cost to Keep $48
These leggings are awesome! I love the print; it's so unique! I really like colorful leggings, so these are perfect. I also like the mesh detail a lot. They have pretty good compression without being uncomfortably tight.
Elements Hoodie by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $98
I think I have received this same hoodie in four different colors now, haha! It's an awesome hoodie, don't get me wrong. So awesome, in fact, that I bought it the first time I got it in the fall, except that one is raspberry colored. I like the black! I do already own a couple of different black hoodies, though. This is a knit / spandex fabric with thumbholes and a variegated subtle stripe throughout.
Leslie Swing Tee by Balance Collection - Cost to Keep $39
I am not wild about this color, but the cut of this cotton knit tee is sublime. It fits so well! It's also really soft, and I prefer natural fibers in my workout tops. I think the mesh panel in the back is also a really cute detail.
Short Sleeve Striped Tee by Activezone - Cost to Keep $32
I really like the pink contrast at the collar and seams! Unfortunately, this top is just not flattering on me. You know, it seems strange, but probably the number one indicator of whether a top will look good on me or not is length. If a shirt is too long, it's just not going to look good. If it hits at the hips, it can sometimes look good even if it's a bit snug. In any case, this will have to go back.
The Verdict: This was another great box from Wantable Fitness Edit! This month was full of great pieces! I especially liked the leggings and the pink tee. Wantable Fitness Edit is a fun subscription. I am really enjoying building a solid workout wardrobe!
