Wantable Style Edit February 2019 Review
When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. There is also a note from my stylist, Scott. It explains why he chose the items he picked for me.
This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $463. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $112.60. That's a deep discount!
Waffle V-Neck Drop Shoulder Top by W. by Wantable - Cost to Keep $68
This is a really pretty and comfortable sweater from Wantable's own line! I love a good waffle top, they are so cozy! It's a synthetic blend, but it has a natural fiber feel to it. I think it looks pretty good on, too.
Carter Girlfriend Jeans by Jag Jeans - Cost to Keep $94
These jeans are just a tad snug, but otherwise, I love them! I might have to exchange them. They have less give than most jeans, which I kind of like sometimes. I like the distressing, but my favorite thing is the cuffs! They look really clean and are sewn in with red thread. So cute!
Camo Baseball Tee by Z Supply - Cost to Keep $52
Sometimes it's the simple things that make us most happy, like this baseball tee, haha. I love it! I think it looks super cool, and it fits well. It's also super soft, as is everything from Z Supply because it has the worn-in look and feel. This is a keeper for sure!
Snap Button Top by Rebel Wilson X Angels - Cost to Keep $59
This ribbed, cotton knit top is really pretty, but it's just a little small on me. Paired with jeans that are also a little snug, it's not a great look for me. Otherwise, it is a beautiful color and very high quality. I also like the stylish snaps up the front.
Debbie Lace Up Top by Jag Jeans - Cost to Keep $69
I love the color of this top! It's also a really soft cotton knit, and super comfortable too. I am not in love with the cut, but otherwise, it is great.
Alexa Printed Crop Pant by Michel Studio - Cost to Keep $66
I actually bought these exact pants a month or so ago from Wantable in solid black. They are really comfortable pull-on pants, but are still crisp and look good for business casual days. They are a polyester blend. I am not wild about this particular print, but I'm glad I tried them.
For the first time ever, Wantable forgot to put one of the items in my box! If you're keeping track, it's the One Button Cardigan by Bobeau. I emailed customer service, and they answered back really quickly, telling me to not worry about it. They also said that I could still get the 20% off for keeping all six pieces. That is definitely representative of Wantable's no-fuss, attentive customer service.
The Verdict: I really usually love my Wantable Style Edit! This month was a mixture of hits and misses, which is to be expected, but I love the camo tee and those jeans! I feel like, in terms of cost and value, Wantable sends a good mix of inexpensive and pricier pieces. I also love that they send seven pieces! It's so fun!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside was $463.00. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $350.40 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s a savings of about 24%. The average price per piece is $66.14.
