I was there brighten early in Boise Idaho and shocked they were all gone I spoke to a customer service representative there and she told me that each store was only receiving between 20 and 25 bags store so the pickings were Slim to begin with.

Can someone please tell me how to set up alerts for next years beauty bags at whole foods? I never got an alert in my email and probably missed out by now 🙁 but would like to be prepared next year thanks

Lia

Hello, I actually set the alert on my outlook calendar for the day of the release and was there at 7am. Once the dates for next year’s announced, create a personal alert on your calendar or phone.

@ WF in south FL, there was a display with both colors in front of check out area on a shelf cube and cubbies below were filled w/black bags last night (30th @ 9:30pm)

asked if I could buy blue display and was told (employee not in beauty) that the blue one was already reserved for a WF employee, she then took the blue one in display away, lol

so asked a sweet girl in beauty area + she found a blue; decided to get both as could not recall what each was for + no one knew difference and didn’t have time to sort out…there was no limit on bags; perhaps b/c it’s 2 days later?

when googled last night saw bags selling @ $50+ on the usual sites, crazy!

I am so sad! I still can’t drive & when I called, they were already out. I checked the swap section & saw that so many people had purchased multiples just to swap for the $100 RP. It would be nice if they would limit them to one per person so others of us could just maybe get them them one year…

The swap section here? That’s not very nice.

Luna

At the store I went to there were a handful of ladies (about 5) that each had multiple kids with them (at least 3 each, both boys & girls and all clearly under the age of 10) and had each of them “buy” one of each bag. I imagine that’s the new way for some people to get multiples now.

Maybe that’a why one of my stores were rationing them out and stuck to one bag per customer.

It’s nice for a $20 but I wouldn’t pay $100 for it.

I was thrilled to get mine. I am excited to read the review for this bag as I am a little overloaded on products and wondering which once I should move up in the rotation. Really excited about a lot of the products. I really can’t have enough face masks.

I’m curious to see if any of the reviewers leave a review for the bag. Because, no one on here has reviewed a WF beauty bag since ‘16.

Marissa

How long does it take to get an invite to the swap site?

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

It took me ~3 months.

WF in Silver Spring, Maryland had about 15 black bags left at 8:30 p.m. They are locked in a case near the customer service desk where keep the Amazon echos.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

Wow so surprising! Because, Columbia, MD WF was sold out by 1pm on the first day.

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

I wish I had time to snag this but my store doesn’t hold them and I had family from out of town so we already had plans that didn’t include a trip to Whole Foods. 🙁

My Whole Foods still had several black bags left but after looking inside, I decided to pass.
It seemed like half the items were masks or single use items. The two lip balms are also low cost items so I definitely didn’t see $100 in value.
I think I was spoiled by last year’s bag, which was super cute. This one seemed a bit generic.

Yea the ‘17 and ‘18 were incredible bags! And, I agree this year was a little lack luster compared to the past two years. But, if you compare these bags to ‘15 and ‘16. ‘19 rocked it out of the park compared to those.

As for this years bags. I definitely think the Blue one was better and the higher value of the two

Kay

My bag was missing two items. I’d advise checking the contents before purchase to avoid sadness.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

i bought the Blue bag at 7am on the 29th. Opened it at work to find the Burt’s bees face wipes were missing. By lunch time 12:30 all the Blue bags were gone. But, the WF’s gave me Yes to Tomatoes wipes (they didn’t have Burt’s Bees wipes avail) from the travel section.

But, yes check your bag before buying. A lot, of people seem to be reporting missing items.

Luna

That’s nice they let you choose a like product from the travel section. One of my bags (I think the blue bag) was missing the Trilogy cream. 🙁 (however, my mom’s bag had an extra Alba mask!) I think I’ll let it go this year since Whole Foods is a tad out of the way for me, and I’ve already put everything away in their respective places, plus gifted a couple of items, but I’ll definitely try to remember to check the contents before purchasing next year. I’ve never had a problem before with missing items, and it seems like quite a few people had at least one missing product this year.

I just enjoyed using the Whole Foods Market Nourishing Royal Jelly Bio Cellulose Mask from the Self Care Sunday bag. It was lovely, but I’m a little surprised by the amount of non-recyclable packaging for a single-,use sheet mask.

5 of 14 Items are in both bags:
1. Acure under eye hydrogels
2. Welda facial cream
3. Burt’s Bees facial cleansing
towelette
4. Acure brightening facial scrub
(sealed)
5. Evanhealy whipped shea butter
for lips with raspberry seed

The cocockind golden elixir, from the 24-Hour beauty bag, was nearly empty in my bag.

I was able to get both bags at my WF this morning. There was no “line” but there were several of us waiting in our cars (Michigan=cold mornings) for the doors to open and we all rushed the beauty section 🙂 While I’m not convinced that there is $100 worth of products in these they are definitely worth $20. This might seem odd but along with the fact that these bags are handmade and help women in Africa I love the zipper pulls on them. Usually fabric on zipper pulls just goes through the one hole. I really like the way the fabric is wrapped around on these.

I was at one of the Michigan stores, too! We were all in our cars, as well. Which one were you at? I went to the West Bloomfield store.

WF in Central Phoenix inlybhad black bags at around 530 pm. Got one!

Terri

Got mine around 930 this morning and they were still in boxes, the employee said they didn’t have room on a shelf and he was staying close by, handing them out when someone asked. Still plenty left, but the girl @ checkout said she never heard about them and there were people waiting when the door opened and “one old lady charged through the doors yelling where are the bags” lol! She said it was like flip flop day at old navy 😂

That’s amazing you know she is one of us 😅😅

Mine is missing Dr Haushka, coconut scrub and another face cream!! I definitely don’t want the bag without those items, could I still return it?

I got to my store in Eugene, OR around 11:30am and they were sold out! I’m so bummed. I had to be to work at 7am when Whole Foods opens, and then I begged my coworker to switch lunch times with me. I never have luck with these limited edition things because of my stupid work schedules…I should just stop trying.

In the bright side, I saved $20? Lol.

Anyone in the STL area, Town & Country WF still has 4 black bags and 5 blue ones! There is a employee guarding them to make sure you only get one of each. (I heard her tell someone after I got mine) lol I only grabbed the blue! The bag is pretty good size.

April

I got the blue bag…very nice skin care. Definitely feel like it’s worth more than $20. Excited to try these products with my Clarisonic. The black bag is more make up. The blue bag is more skin care.

WF at Legacy Place (MA) had about 14 black bags (24 hour beauty) at 1pm. The display also only showed the black bag. I didn’t ask about the blue bag since I wanted the black. No Amazon Prime discount. And the cashier had no idea what the bag was which means I probably could have bought more than one. 😊 I exercised a little self control!!

Frances

I prefer the bag style this year versus last year’s. They are much roomier!

Reply ButtonReply

Lynn

AGREE 100% Frances! And part of the proceeds go to Africa for helping women which is a win-win!

Reply ButtonReply

Frances

Lynn – That makes me appreciate the bag(s) even more! I also like that because each bag is hand printed, no two will be exactly alike in their pattern.

Cris

Got to the Ink Block Boston WF at 12:30pm thinking there would be none left but there a WHOLE SHELF full, so was able to get both bags. 😂 or 😆 since it probably didn’t need both. The associate I asked was surprised there were still so many left.

You are really lucky then, I been to the one in Los altos before they opened the store, once they open, there is already a queue, and there are also many emplyees buying the bag, the bag should be gone within 10 minutes. I am lucky because I am early, but otherwise nothing left. Your store must have regulation to give the customer the priority to buy.

WF at Bridgeport in Tualatin: I was there just as they opened and was able to get one of each. There was a line a people waiting to get in and they all beelined for the bags. I browsed around WF about 30 mins and by the time I checked out, there were only a few bags remaining. The actual bags aren’t quite the same quality as previous years, but they are spacious.

Yes, I did not like the bags itself at all. They look and feel flimsy and cheap. I love 2017 bag, and 2018 bag I use all the time.

Still in stock @ the Seattle Westlake and Roosevelt locations as of 9:15 AM; the Interbay store is sold out.

I got to my WF at 7:20am, the guy was handing out the bags from boxes. One box already was gone. I got two bags and I scanned my amazon prime at check out and both boxes came out $33 including taxes.

Tlc

I scanned my app also and didn’t receive a Prime discount…

Reply ButtonReply

Lia

Oh I didnt know you could do that. Too bad I paid $20 each plus tax. But it’s worth it. Was late to work for 15 minutes 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

li li

I think the primer doesn’t account to that, that girl was just lucky!

Tina T

I scanned my app, too and didn’t get another discount. How weird.
