March 2019 Brick Loot “Bricksburg Final” Review
Each delivery arrives with a card that details each item in your box. This month, all of the items tie into the sports theme of the box.
Exclusive! ‘Basketball Player’ 100% LEGO® Build Designed by Tyler Clites
This first build contained 44 pieces, and when assembled created a larger than your standard mini figure basketball player. I thought that this was a creative build – and isn’t everyone a college basketball fan in March? At least when brackets are concerned? 😊
Exclusive! Mini City Sports Shop
I always love adding a business to my mini city, and this sports shop has so many amazing details and specialty pieces. This build contained 108 pieces, but some of the fun aspects of it included little weight benches and weight racks, and a ton of windows! This is more of a gym in my head then a retail store, but whatever – it's adorable and was so fun to assemble!
Exclusive! Sports Fun Pack
This was a great pack to get! This fun pack includes 32 accessories – baseball bats, gloves, balls, soccer balls, basketballs, and even two different color baseball hats are included for realistic scene setting.
Exclusive! Game Pack
Another fun exclusive, this pack includes 5 single board game tiles. These will fit on any standard brick, and again will be a great addition to my growing accessory collection.
Exclusive! Basketball All-Star LEGO ® Minifigure
Each month an exclusive mini-figure is included. This month, the lego figure has a striking resemblance to NBA great Michael Jordan, but I know it’s not him because he plays for the Brickland Bullz.
Verdict: And we’re back! Last month I was a bit disappointed with the lack of pieces and builds, but this month I thought the theme was on point and that the builds were perfect for this type of subscription.
It's difficult to calculate the exact value received due to the exclusive items. This box is $33 a month ($27 + $6 shipping) and I received 5 items. Considering them all equally it's like paying $6.60 per item. Given the quality of the items and the mini-city inclusion, I feel that I got my money’s worth this month and especially loved all of the fun accessories.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll find the current available theme in their top banner of the website.
