Cuddle Crate is a monthly subscription box for pets. You can opt for a dog box (choose your dog size), a cat box, or a small animal box (select gerbil/hamster or rabbit/guinea pig). You can also combine pet types with higher tier subscriptions (i.e., get a combined cat/rabbit box) and opt for a bimonthly box if monthly is too often for you.
This is a review of the cat box.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Cuddle Crate March 2019 Review
Cuddle Crate typically sends out a variety of toy types as well as (usually) one package of treats if you have the single pet type option selected. Let’s see what the cats got this month!
They’ve moved away from an information card listing the items in the box and instead are directing you to a URL where you can look up more information about the items.
Petlinks HyperNip Love Birds – Retail Value $6.99 (found on sale here for $3.50)
HyperNip is a blend of catnip and silvervine. (Madison is a silvervine freak.) These also have feathers and twine and lots of interesting textural components. I left them on the bedroom floor last night and someone moved them all around, but it could’ve been either Madison or Monkey (or both) as both of them were expressing interest.
Petstages Green Magic Boomerang Buddy – Retail Value $6.99 (found here for $5.99)
I have received one of these before but I am not much bothered by cat toy repeats because as far as the cats are concerned, they are new and different. I always think this is a banana because of the color. Anyway, it is pretty stuffed with catnip and Monkey really, really liked rubbing his face on it.
Ethical A-Door-Able Bouncing Plush Bird with Feather Tail – Retail Value $11.59
This is meant to be hung over a door or door frame and your cat can play with the bird. That is what I have done with it, but for pictures, it also worked pretty well just as a dangler operated by hand. This was definitely an Angus item.
Ethical Hug ‘n Kick Corkies
This is a new item from Ethical/SPOT and I can’t find this larger size of toy for sale anywhere yet (some smaller ones are available in a few places). It has a natural cork outer part, catnip, and feathers. It is a good size for snuggling or wrestling (Angus and Monkey are my wrestlers) and also an interesting texture.
Redbarn Naturals Crunchy Freeze Dried Beef (0.75 oz) – Retail Value $4.15
These are not actually crunchy despite the name, and the pieces are kind of small, but Sneaky and Madison liked them well enough anyway. (Sneaky is a BEEF EXPERT.)
Here are some kitty photos for you:
I used the door dangler toy kind of like a wand and Angus was all over it.
Madison was freaked out when I took pictures for some reason.
But these treats won him over.
Monkey likes rubbing his face on things.
Sneaky is the household beef expert.
Mr. Kitty is having a bad reaction to some eye drops (we are trying to figure out which ones), hence the extra large e-collar, but I did pose him with this fish as he slept in the sunny window and he didn’t seem to mind.
Verdict: I didn’t calculate a total value for the March Cuddle Crate for cats subscription box because one toy was a new 2019 introduction and isn’t for sale anywhere yet. But for the four items I could find prices, the total was $29.72, which is almost equal to the cost of the box. I am sure the new toy is going for more than $7 based on the size, so that’s really a good value for this subscription, which is sometimes on the lower side, and getting a new-to-market item is always cool. I appreciated the variety this month, both in terms of size and texture, and Sneaky and Madison liked the treats.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? March boxes all ship about the same time, so no. Also, there is some customization involved, especially for the multi-pet boxes, so there may be some variation even among March boxes.

Value Breakdown: The four items I found values for total about $29.72 leaving $0.23 for the cork fish toy. I would estimate that you are getting at least $7-8 (or more) worth of value above and beyond the month-to-month cost of the subscription.
