Ellie Subscription April 2019 FULL SPOILERS + Coupon!

I only subbed one box so far (Feb) and got the yoga leggings. I love them and my DH actually commented on how great I looked in them. (I don’t remember the last time he commented on my clothes…including our wedding day!) My bra was the wrong size and they immediately shipped me a new size without needing me to to return the wrong size bra so their customer service is A+. I too machine wash my workout clothes (NO fabric softener) and hang dry. I haven’t had any fading or stretching issues but my set is only 1-2 months old. I read that fabric softener can ruin your clothing because of the chemicals that stay in the fibers. The only knock is that they ship ground and from California so shipping times will vary depending on your location.

I tend to be…frugal. That said I think they are about medium quality. I imagine things I would buy at a Kohl’s. To me, the leggings and bras typically fall into what I would expect to pay $20 each for at a department store, but the shirts tend to be thin and I would expect to cost around $13. I just checked the Ellie shop and they actually charge similar prices depending on the item. So these curated boxes are kinda like going to a department store with a 30% off coupon, but accepting you have to buy a kit rather than 3 separate pieces.

I have had some pants be a bit see through with the squat test (not too bad standing straight) but those have been black. So while more noticeable, they also can be switched to more daytime leggings if they arent too flashy as workout gear. I tend to look for sets I can imagine mixing into my casual wardrobe and workout gear and find Ellie often does well.

Plus you can skip by the 4th of the month every month. I think this one will be my 5th box since September because I skip if I dont find that at least 2/3 items in one of the sets is something I really want and the 3rd I will at least wear.

Everything I’ve gotten from Ellie (maybe around 8 outfits at this point) has been comfy and I haven’t had any quality issues. I machine wash/dry and haven’t had any issues with fading, shrinkage, etc. Agree with MissJ that they are super breathable.

I haven’t had to do any size exchanges, but once I had to contact CS because of an accessory damaged in shipping. They got back to me quickly and sent a replacement with no questions asked.

I’ve been getting Ellie, not every month, but for almost a year when there’s something I want. The outfits are great quality, in my opinion, and I have not had any fading like Svetlana7e mentioned. I do air dry all of my workout clothes, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I like Ellie better than Fabletics because honestly, Fabletics clothes are too dang hot for me to workout in! There are a couple of Fabletics fabrics that are not thick, but most of theirs is that thick, hot material. The Ellie fabrics let your skin actually breathe when you break a sweat and are much more comfortable.

Tammy, I sub this box for about a year. The quality is not that good if you compare it to fabletics or VSX. The leggings are thinner and fade out. Consider me crazy, but I like that their leggings is not that thick but still not see through and despite their fading I love how comfortable they are and I love prints and colors.

I chose the same one. I’m also short and like when the cropped ones end up full length on me!
