KoKoStyle is a monthly K-Beauty subscription box from KoKoBox. Each box comes with 2-3 full-size products and also includes a variety of samples/goodies to give you a taste of what’s popular in Korea right now. They cover a wide range of different beauty products, including makeup, skincare, haircare, and body care.
In addition to the regular KokoStyle box, KokoStyle also offers a deluxe version of this box for $49.99 a month.
This is a review of the regular Kokostyle, $29.99 a month, box.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Products: A mix of full size and sample size items ranging from makeup, skincare, haircare, and body care.

Good to Know: This box will occasionally include skin tone specific makeup like BB creams and foundation, so when you subscribe you choose between light beige and dark beige. However, KoKoStyle acknowledges that doesn’t work for everyone:
Korean makeup can be quite limited for darker skin tones. If you use a darker foundation, please send us a message and we will put an alternative item of the same value in your box.
KoKoStyle March 2019 Review
Here is the info sheet for this month’s box!
KokoStyle usually includes a small non-beauty gift, and this month we got cute band-aids in various sizes. I actually own no band-aids, so I am happy to have ones with sharks on them.
Dr. Frog A-Cream, Full-Size! Retail Value $19.50 (found here for $16.00)
This cream has an A+ ingredients list- maybe that is why it’s called the A cream? This has a patented blend of vitamins C and E, elm tree extract, onion (?!), Centella Asiatica, and adenosine. It has no drying alcohols or other potentially problematic ingredients, and it is incredibly calming and nourishing. This is what I will be reaching for after a strong exfoliation treatment or sunburn—this really felt like a hug wrapped up in a moisturizer.
Eunyul Coenzyme Q10 Mask – Retail Value $1.49
According to my queen, Paula, Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a vitamin-like fat-soluble substance naturally present in the body that can be depleted by environmental factors. Studies have shown that CoQ10 can help improve the appearance of aging, and it is a star ingredient due to its skin-soothing properties and antioxidants. This sheet mask does have alcohol in it, which I never love, but it is paired with goodies like honeysuckle extract, blueberry extract, and rose water. I used this sheet mask and then promptly fell asleep without finishing my skincare routine for the night, but my skin was hydrated and not tight the next morning which impressed me.
BRTC Pore Tightening Sleeping Pack, 0.33 oz – Estimated Value $5.86 (buy the full-size version for $30)
I use a sleeping mask almost every night, so I am always happy to have more. This little guy has enough for multiple uses, and it has ingredients like aloe, green tea, grape, and coffee extract to minimize the appearance of pores.
Innisfree No Sebum Blur Primer, Full-Size! Retail Value $9
Innisfree is a really popular K-Beauty brand, and now that the months are starting to get warmer I need some oil control in my t-zone. This is made with minerals from Jeju island that are designed to help control oil, and this silicone-based primer felt like velvet on my skin.
It’s Skin Life Color Matte Lip Crush in Watch Me, Full-Sized! Retail Value $9.90 (found here for $9.41)
I love a good matte lipstick, and this pinky coral definitely has the staying power to get me through springs. This is very drying, though, so I would make sure to prep your lips well beforehand. This isn’t a lip color you can just swipe and go, and I did find it to stay a touch sticky, too. You can see me wearing it here.
KokoStyle will also sometimes include various bonuses for subscribers who mention them on social media. What you get is completely random, and I have gotten full-size skincare products as well as this little toner/emulsion sample duo.
Verdict: KoKoStyle is one of my favorite monthly K-Beauty boxes—they always do a great job of including full-size skincare options, and I always feel like you get a good deal for the price you pay. My favorite item this month is definitely that Dr. Frog cream, but all of the items were good choices as we enjoy Spring. I calculated a value of $45.75, which isn’t the highest value I have seen from them but is still good considering the cost of the box includes free international shipping.
To Wrap Up:
Can I still get this box if I sign up today? No, the next box you will receive is April’s.
Value Breakdown: This box costs $29.99 + free shipping and I calculated a total value of $45.89, which means that you’re paying approximately the following per item:
- Dr. Frog: $12.78
- Eunyul: $0.98
- BRTC: $3.84
- Innisfree: $5.90
- It’s Skin: $6.49
