Almost everything you receive will be full sized items with well know brand names. Includes a variety of snacks from granola bars, chips, cereals, etc. A lot will even be organic! Please note, this box is an insanely good deal, so some best by dates could be just passed or about to pass or they could even have a year left on them. If you are a frugal shopper you understand that best by dates are arbitrary and the packaged foods we will be sending are perfectly fine after the best by dates. Items that could potentially melt will only be included in the cooler months. You may receive multiples of some items, but we will always send a good variety each month.
Some things to consider: Have a big family to feed? Feel free to order multiples, but keep in mind that it might result in doubling up on the exact same products or you could get completely different products. It will vary from month to month. Received something you aren’t interested in? Give back to your community by donating the unwanted items. Have someone you want to send a care package to like a student in college or a grandparent? Let us do the work for you by shipping this box directly to them!
Each box has a huge variety for all sorts of snack preference: sweet, salty (or both), spicy or healthy.

Our April 2019 Review
The last few boxes have come with recipe cards using something in we receive in that month’s box. This month it is Twizzler Infused Strawberry Lemonade. I hope to definitely make this soon, just need to gather up all the ingredients. I mean, look at that drink! It's beautiful!
Cape Cod Waves White Cheddar & Sour Cream Chips (2), 2.5 oz – Buy a 7.5 oz bag for $3.29
140 Calories │ 8g Fat│ 15g Carbs │ 3g Protein (per 9 chips) – Expired March 16, 2019
Yumm -- these chips were so delicious! We enjoyed a bag throughout the unboxing and photographing of all the snacks we got this month. They weren’t too salty and just the right amount of cheddar sour cream flavor. My entire family loved these. We have one bag left and soon I will be on the way to the grocery store to grab more.
Hi-Chew Sours Candies (30) – Buy 100 Individually Wrapped Candies for $19.99
210 Calories │4.5g Fat│ 41g Carbs │ Less than 1g Protein (per 10 pieces) – Unknown Expiration Date
Admittedly, I was not too excited to try these candies until I tried these candies and now I think I have a new favorite. We received 30 individual wrapped candies in 3 assorted flavors: lime, lemon, and grapefruit. I love grapefruit and grapefruit everything, so I immediately grabbed for the pink one. There aren’t a lot of grapefruit candies around, so I was unsure what to expect. It was not too sour and was really yummy.
Black Forest Organic Caramel, 7 oz – Unknown Retail Value
70 Calories │ 0g Fat│ 16g Carbs │ 0g Protein (per 3 pieces) – Expires June 10, 2019
My family and I don’t really like caramel, I mean it's okay in Twix and Snickers bars, but on its own, it's just not a favorite. These come individually wrapped, so we each took a chance to try them. Out of the 3 people that tried it, 2 spit it out. I stood strong. It was how a traditional caramel is, sweet and sticky. I am thinking these would be perfect at work, in a little candy jar up front so that guests can grab one, or two or three. I was unable to find this online and was unable to verify retail value. Everywhere I looked the product was unavailable.
Almond Butter Granola Bites, 5.3 oz. – Retail Value $3.59
160 Calories │ 9g Fat│ 17g Carbs │ 3g Protein (per 4 bites) – Expires April 18, 2019
With this snack, I photographed quickly and plated even quicker. They look delicious, but if I told my kids what they were they probably would not have tried them. They ended up loving these, and I was shocked! They are little almond butter balls with chocolate and granola around them. They are so good and so bad at the same time -- it is easy to get carried away because they are bite-sized! These are a delicious win for our family.
Annie’s Cheddar Bunny Tails, 7.5 oz – Retail Value $4.29
160 Calories │ 9g Fat│ 17g Carbs │ 1g Protein (per 30 crackers) – Expired March 28, 2019
Annie’s snacks are kind of expected with this subscription, and they are welcomed. The kids love them and snack on them often. These were cute cheese snacks with little bunny tails on them. They were super cheesy though; not horrible, but super cheesy. They will pair nicely with the next snack we unboxed.
Chex Mix Bold Flavor, 15 oz – Retail Value $2.99
120 Calories │ 3.5g Fat│ 22g Carbs │ 2g Protein (per ½ cup) – Expired April 5, 2019
Another family win! We love Chex Mix in our home. Everyone has a favorite piece somewhere. I normally reach for the cheddar or the traditional flavor, and this was the first time I have ever tried bold. It wasn’t my favorite, but those Annie's Bunny Tails paired perfectly with them for a little mix of flavor. These will not last long though, with or without the cheesy tail.
Chicken Chips Barbecue Flavor, 2.25 oz. – Unknown Retail Value
170 Calories │ 10g Fat│ 10g Carbs │ 7g Protein (per 11 chips) – Expires June 8, 2019
Look, when I saw these chips I was curious and kind of grossed out. They're made with premium cuts of 100% natural chicken (that’s where I was grossed out) that's combined with tapioca flour and crisped in coconut oil. These things are packing a whole 7g protein per serving! I love barbecue flavor and was ready to try these after a bit of hesitation. The flavor was not bad; the barbecue was really good. But the after-taste lingered and just stuck with me. It was enough to keep me from grabbing more. I wanted to like these – but I just didn’t. My son seemed to like them okay though, so I don’t think they will be a total waste. This is another product I was unable to find available online and therefore was unable to verify a retail value.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Larabar (4) – Buy a 5-pack for $5.29 (found on sale here for $5.00)
210 Calories │ 12g Fat│ 23g Carbs │ 5g Protein (per 15 chips) – Expired April 1, 2019
We got another flavor of these in our December box and were not happy to see them again. The main ingredient is dates and, well, those don’t sit well with us. The flavor we got this month was Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and while I won’t eat a whole bar, I took a nibble and liked the flavor a lot more than December's Peanut Butter cookie. Still, not a favorite snack. Honestly, though, I am happy I did get these in my first box because I have always wanted to try these but didn’t want to splurge on a whole box. This is why I like this subscription box!
Twizzlers, Strawberry Flavor, 16 oz – Retail Value $2.98
120 Calories │ 0.5g Fat│ 27g Carbs │ 1g Protein (per 3 pieces) – Expires May 2019
Boy, did my kids’ faces light up when they saw this ginormous bag of Twizzlers! My son loves these, and my daughter just loves candy. I am not a fan of licorice, so they will be the ones eating these. I do intend to make that lemonade using these sooner rather than later with the recipe card I got.
Athenos Baked Pita Chips Whole Wheat, 9 oz – Retail Value $3.49
120 Calories │ 4g Fat│ 19g Carbs │ 4g Protein (per 11 chips) – Expired March 11, 2019
Last month, we got these in roasted garlic flavor and while they were pretty good. These ones just... weren’t. Well, I didn’t like them. The wheat was a different flavor and texture than what I like in a pita chip. My son is eating them, though. He eats anything!
Blueberry Muffin Mug Treats, 11.8 oz – Retail Value $2.99
320 Calories │ 5g Fat│ 67g Carbs │ 3g Protein (per 1 pouch) – Expired April 5, 2019
Another win for the kids! We got the cinnamon roll flavor in January that the kids just loved! Blueberry muffins are a family favorite around here, and I have not yet let them get into these. (They are so high on sugar and calories!) I didn’t really love the cinnamon roll flavor or the texture of this snack, and I feel like these would be the same. I would rather pop a pan of blueberry muffins in the oven.
Chorizo & Lime Shorty Sausage Snack, .125 oz – Buy a 5 oz bag for $6.44
170 Calories │ 14g Fat│ 2g Carbs │ 10g Protein – Expires April 18, 2019
Our last snack is definitely interesting and packs some serious protein! They tasted a little like beef jerky, a little lime-y, and a little chorizo-y, but they were not really yummy. I don’t think we would ever grab these at the store if we were looking for a satisfying snack.
Verdict: This month’s box was definitely full of different snacks and flavors and textures. It’s what I come to appreciate about this box -- the discovery of new snacks. Most months, there are a good mix of snacks that I really like and snacks that I would eat if I am hungry. This month, there were more than a few I wouldn’t eat at all. But I did discover a new chip and candy that I love! This month, though, we only received 12 snacks when we normally get 13, and I can't help but feel like I was missing out on something.
