My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Black Luxury Leggings Front

Black Luxury Leggings – Listed Value $39

These poly blend leggings are very thick and seem well constructed. They are stretchy, but not as stretchy as most leggings, they are actually more like jeggings or treggings in that regard. They are also several sizes too small! I would estimate these could perhaps fit a size L at most. This is my only real complaint with My Fashion Crate... More often than I would like, they send clothing items that are way off in terms of sizing. Otherwise the leggings are great.

My Fashion Crate March 2019 - 4 Spiral Matte Hair Tie Set 1My Fashion Crate March 2019 - 4 Spiral Matte Hair Tie Set 2

4 Spiral Matte Hair Tie Set - Listed Value $10

I tie my hair back constantly, so I can always use more hair ties! I really like these, too. The spiral kind are helpful in not pulling hair out, yet, miraculously, they stay put! They are also nice and thick and last a long time.

Chroma Eyeshadow by Mirabella – Retail Value $50

One thing I really like about having brown eyes is that I can wear just about any eyeshadow color, and I really love the bold colors featured in this palette! The colors are so vibrant, and they are pretty solidly pigmented as well. I also really like that they are paraben, talc, and cruelty-free! These are a mineral formula, and no primer is needed. Nice!

My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Pure Lano Natural Lip Treatment Box FrontMy Fashion Crate March 2019 - Pure Lano Natural Lip Treatment Box BackMy Fashion Crate March 2019 - Pure Lano Natural Lip Treatment FrontMy Fashion Crate March 2019 - Pure Lano Natural Lip Treatment Open

Pure Lano Natural Lip Treatment by Pure Cosmetics - Retail Value $20

This lip treatment is full of all kinds of good things such as vitamin E, lanolin, jojoba, and almond oils. I did not happen to have chapped lips when I received this, but it is supposed to be really good for repairing damaged lips. I tried it anyway, though, and it felt really luxurious. It left my lips feeling smooth and really soft!

My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Mighty Patch Original FrontMy Fashion Crate March 2019 - Mighty Patch Original Back

Mighty Patch Original by Hero Cosmetics - Listed value $2.50 for 6 (buy 36 for $12.99)

These little patches are for covering and healing blemishes. They are made of hydrocolloid, which is supposed to draw out impurities, speed healing, and protect the skin. I tried one overnight, and I felt like it did help a little, and definitely did not dry or irritate my already sensitive skin. I don't know if I would run out and buy a bunch more but they seem useful for sure.

The following items are in the Plus Size Premium Box only.

My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Preppy Poplin Top FrontMy Fashion Crate March 2019 - Preppy Poplin Top Sleeve Closer

Preppy Poplin Top – Listed Value $38

Unlike the leggings, the shirt is only a little bit too small, which is why I have my hands placed in such an odd spot. I think button-up tops are particularly hard for plus sized women as there are so many different places the buttons could gap. I am also not one to dress preppy, really, so I think even if this top fit well I wouldn't love it. But, it's always good to have a few button-up tops on hand. I really like the tabbed sleeves! It also is a nice, cool cotton poplin, which is a great transitional material for spring.

My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Luminous Geometric Cosmetic Pouch 1My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Luminous Geometric Cosmetic Pouch 2My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Luminous Geometric Cosmetic Pouch 3My Fashion Crate March 2019 - Luminous Geometric Cosmetic Pouch 4

Luminous Geometric Cosmetic Pouch - Listed Value $28

What a funky makeup bag! The geometric shape is sort of highly segmented within what feels like a type of rubber, so it folds into different shapes. It also has that purple/green sheen when the light hits it the right way, like anodized metal almost. It's definitely not big enough to hold my whole makeup haul, but it definitely easily fits a day kit. This will really be useful!

The Verdict: This month's package from My Fashion Crate was a mixture of hits and misses. The clothing was oddly sized, which has become an issue I am concerned about as it happens pretty frequently. On the other hand, there is more value in the non-clothing items, and pretty much all of those were a win! I especially liked the eyeshadow and the hair ties. I feel like you get a lot with this subscription! The total value of the items is $187.50 this month, so the overall value is awesome!

Anna I love your reviews but you are too kind on that palette. It sucks. Not vibrant, not pigmented. Right up there with the $ Tree stuff.

I just don’t understand this sub. The quality always seems so below par… why does MSA keep getting this? Especially with more than one writer!

Bonnie

I think MSA gets this because the vast majority of clothing subs are much higher end. This and Nadine West are the only ones (I think) that are more affordable. Yes, I agree that the quality is so much lower than a Stitch Fix or a Dia, but it’s in a pricepoint that more people can afford. I do hope, however, that those interested keep in mind that these cheaper clothes often run about 2 sizes too small.

Gotta ask…what are treggings? Never heard of that one. .The shadows are pretty, nice and springy. Thanks for the review.

Don’t think this box is worth what one pays for it, but I do like that make-up bag a lot.

Recently I became a part of this membership and have received 2 boxes in the last 3 months and the stylist has been n point with the product curation. It was just a few clicks and everything I received was super stylish.
i love the fact that someone else picked my wardrobe.. you were polite, understanding and prompt.. so thank you …
Look forward to the next box.

Congratulations and welcome to “the rest of us”! Nothing special happens, you have just finally received a crappy My Fashion Crate that the rest of us have gotten for quite some time!!

This box is a Dollar Store disaster. Save your money and get fast fashion at F21 or something

I don’t think this is the “Mystery Box”, because apart from the clothing, the items are exactly the same as the ones Brandi received in her March box.

Their clothing choices between the two seem to be a bit odd. I don’t usually pick button up shirts too, because they gape big time on a larger chest.
