Crayola recently launched a new monthly craft subscription box that will send you everything you need to make 2 "pin-worthy" crafts a month.

(FYI - this appears to be geared toward adults, so if you are looking for kid-specific raft boxes, check out our list of the Best Craft Subscription Boxes for more options!)

The Box: Crayola CIY Box

The Cost: $37.99 a month + $2.99 shipping

The Products: The Crayola® CIY Box™ is a monthly subscription box with supplies and instructions for 2 full crafts plus 1 bonus craft challenge, as well as fun treats, deals, or surprises. Every box includes Crayola products, additional craft supplies, and an instruction booklet to achieve Instagram-worthy projects. Crafters are encouraged to exercise their own creativity and invited to share their one-of-a-kind projects on social media

Fourty bucks a month for that? Is this a joke?

Yes! The price is a bit steep though. It’d be better if it was like $30 with free shipping. Love the idea anyways, I’m in to it!

Love love the idea of a Crayola sub for my budding artist at home, but $40/mo is pretty steep and art supplies last awhile as well. Easy pass for us.

They are offering a $7 off coupon CRAFTTIME

I’d be interested in this box, but why not just charge $40 and saying shipping is “free”?

Yes, definitely. Although I have no little ones, this is from a reputable company and it’s a fairly unique offering!

Yes, please. Even if it’s too advanced for little kids, tweens and teens might still enjoy it. And, of course, many adults love crafts, too! Reviewing it might help people figure out if their intended recipient is the right age for it.

I would love to see this reviewed. Even though adults could do this, I definitely think it’s for kids as well. It could be for anyone who enjoys crafts.
