Oui Fresh March 2019 Review
You'll find an info card that doubles as a print and lists all of the items, plus where you can buy more of them.
Jacq's Revitalizing Face Toner, 2 oz. - Retail Value $19.00
My first question upon seeing this item is "What is COQ10?". A quick google search let me know that it's a natural occurring antioxidant that our bodies produce less of as we age and that "one study shows that CoQ10 helps reduce crow’s feet or the wrinkles around the eyes", so it makes sense that I'd find it in beauty products like this hibiscus toner (which also includes rose and mint 😍). That may also explain why this bottle has a retail of $19.00. The scent is wonderful and the spray is a fine fine mist (which is ultimately how I secondarily judge a toner). I already feel a bit peppier having spritz this on my face in the afternoon.
Au Naturale Pure Powder Blush Sprayer in Pink Lady, 0.14 oz. - Retail Value $25.00 (Found on sale here for $12.50)
While I appreciate trying to do new things with makeup, I'm not sure I need my blush in a pump. The directions on the box suggest pumping out the loose powder directly onto a brush to apply to your cheeks, but things can get messy very quickly and it's a little hard to control how much comes out. It looks like these are on sale on their site and the same product is also available in a typical loose powder container as well. Troubling applicator aside, this blush is rather nice, actually. It's soft and velvety and the Pink Lady color is the perfect soft pink with a hint of metallic glimmer to it.
Corson Beauty Cream Cleanser, 2 oz? - Listed Retail Value $18.00 (Buy a 4 oz full size for $38.00)
Oh wow- this smells incredible! They describe it as "Spicy bergamot. Warm jasmine. Soft sandalwood. Sweet neroli. Woody vetiver." But I would simply say "heaven". This is actually less creamy then I was expecting and it is more of a cloudy thicker liquid. It's honestly sooo gentle-feeling when in use and leaves behind nothing but super soft skin that feels well moisturized without even going to my next moisturizing step. Along with Manuka honey, jojoba oil, and hemp seed oil, this cleanser is my new travel companion and I'm considering ordering a full-size of this one...
Oui Fresh Lavender Essential Oil, 5 ml - Listed Retail Value $12.00 (Buy a full-size 15 ml bottle for $24.00)
Oui Fresh often includes a smaller travel size of their essential oil collection in the box and this time they've sent lavender. I truly love lavender and their pure essential oil is no exception. This one can easily be popped into a travel bag so it can be used in hotels where it's harder to fall asleep. You can add it to a water spray bottle to spritz your pillow, or add it to a bath for ultimate relaxation.
Oui Fresh Tinted Mint Lip Balm in Bed of Roses - Listed Retail Value $8.00
The final item is an Oui Fresh Beauty Box exclusive, meaning it's not available to purchase at their shop or anywhere else online. This is actually one of my favorites this month and has been living in my purse. I think tinted lip balms are my new jam since they are light and carry a light pigment that is perfect for Spring. This one is ultra minty which not only smells nice but also feels like it plumps the lip just a touch with some tingle. This is a lot more wearable than some of my matte liquid lipsticks, so I've been wearing it on days that I'm too lazy to do a full face of makeup but want a little color on my lips along with a lot of hydration.
Here are swatches of the blush and tinted balm.
Verdict: I rather enjoy March's Oui Fresh Beauty Box! The blush wasn't my thing, but the toner, cleanser, and lip balm are awesome and the essential oil is, well, essential. I love getting a beauty box full of wonderful scents and this one certainly delivered, all while being natural and luxurious. Even though you won't get all full-size items from this box, it's a great way to try new clean beauty items in travel sizes before you buy.
