QVC Beauty TILI 7-Piece Collection Review
This box came with an info sheet listing the products included and their ingredients. I wish more information about the products themselves was included, as I found myself Googling almost all of them before using. That being said, having the ingredients at my fingertips is better than having no info sheet at all!
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, 0.5 oz – Estimated Value $38.40 (buy the 1.7 oz version for $128)
If you like this moisturizer, this box is already a big win! Elemis is definitely a luxe skincare brand, and this anti-aging moisturizer is lightweight while providing your skin with all of the nourishment it needs. I love how this sinks into my skin, and my only complaint is that we didn't get the version with SPF (which I love even more than this one!).
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream in Pink Grapefruit, 2 oz – Retail Value $12
I love the unscented version of this ultra-nourishing cream, and I thought I would love this grapefruit version, too. Unfortunately, my skin had a reaction to the citrus oils in this cream (orange peel, grapefruit, and tangerine peel oil to be exact), and rather than nourishing it my face became an angry beast. Citrus oils won’t be an irritant for everyone, but my skin just was not in the mood to play nice with this cream.
Mally Starlight Eyeliner in Dark Chocolate, Full-Size! - Retail Value $18
I really love this eyeliner- it is a gel pencil that goes on smoothly with no tugging, and it is waterproof so it will last all day. Dark Chocolate is a shimmery bronze that really enhances my blue eyes, and I love the definition it adds when applied to my lash line.
Crepe Erase Anti-Aging Hand Repair Treatment, 3 oz – Retail Value $22
I am all about the fancy hand creams, so this fits the bill perfectly. This is designed to reduce the signs of aging while adding deep hydration thanks to ingredients like Squalane and shea butter, and it really did moisturize my hands. Even though this is super moisturizing, I was impressed that it didn’t leave my hands feeling greasy.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Concealer in Medium, 0.05 oz – Estimated Value $3.25 (buy the full-size version for $26)
This concealer is amazing- I already have the full-size chilling in my Sephora shopping cart for when the spring sale starts. When I first swatched it I thought it would be way too dark for my pale face, but I was able to blend it out so well it looked just like my skin. This really did brighten my under-eyes, and it did a great job concealing some blemishes, too.
Here is the concealer swatched to the right of the eyeliner.
MineTan Coconut Foam, 1.01 oz – Estimated Value $5.22 (buy the full-size version for $34.99)
This foaming self-tanner smells like coconuts, and it can be used on a variety of skin tones. The darkness of the tan depends on how long you leave the foam applied to your skin, and this size bottle is just enough for one full body tan.
beautyblender sponge – Buy the original for $20
I honestly don’t know why these samples are made- you don’t get enough sponge to try and apply your makeup with, and there is a lot of plastic packaging that feels wasteful. I love my beauty blender, but if you’re considering trying them out just spring for the original rather than fussing with this sample.
The Verdict: The value on this box was incredible- other than the beautyblender none of the samples felt especially small, and I think the amount of product included in each sample is a good amount. Value-wise, I calculated a total value of $98.87, which I think is great for a $20 box that introduced me to an amazing concealer!
