Switch is a jewelry rental service that lets you try out designer jewelry without the commitment. You pick your favorite pieces and try them out for as long as you want with a relatively small monthly fee. This is a review of the 3 pieces at a time plan.
Switch also offers the option to purchase jewelry pieces at a discounted member price. For every month that you’re a member, you get a $10 credit that you can use towards the purchase of a piece of jewelry at the special member price.
Switch offers free Priority shipping via USPS (1-3 day expected arrival). Each package comes with a prepaid USPS return label, so you can leave your return for your mail carrier or drop it off at the post office if you’re the nervous type. Shipping is free both ways, and they just ask that you package it just as you received it to return to them. It’s important to save the mailer and packaging for your return.

Chanel Vintage CC Cut Out Anchor Necklace – Retail Value $2,000, Member Price $900
This fantastic vintage piece is something that I would have never had the chance to wear if it weren’t for this subscription! It’s gold-tone, anchor cut out pendant features a large CC logo. The pendant itself is also quite substantial, at about 2.3” square. It sits on a chunky gold-tone 31.5” chain which hits me perfectly, just where I want a large statement necklace to sit on my chest. This has been a staple of mine this past week, pairing it with my church clothes on Sunday as well as a T-shirt and jeans for a Starbucks run!
Do Not Disturb Lucerne Signet Pinky Ring (Size 3.5) – Retail Value $840, Member Price $675
When I selected this piece, I knew that it was a really small ring, and I took the risk on it fitting my pinky. It did not, but I wish it did! This 14k yellow gold ring has diamonds encrusting the top in a starburst design. I think it’s adorable, and I think it’s made me kind of into pinky rings. I might need to purchase one that fits my hand!
I don’t think I have chubby hands, but this pinky ring kind of makes me second guess that assessment!
Do Not Disturb Toulouse Tennis Bracelet (Medium) – Retail Value $1,585, Member Price $1,265
This was another winning piece for me this month! I think that the combination of the semiprecious stones set in the 14k yellow gold is perfection. The bracelet is 7" long, and comfortably fits my 6.25" wrist.
This bracelet is really delicate looking on my wrist, it’s very thin (maybe about 1/8” wide) but because of the style, it feels pretty sturdy – a must in my life with a young child at home!
The Verdict: This month I selected 3 statement pieces. I was happy with the pieces, their condition, and their fit. I’ve said it before, but I love that I can borrow essentially unlimited (you can switch your pieces at any time and have 3 pieces out for $69/month) jewelry each month from luxury brands.
In this shipment, I tried out $1,300 of jewelry for $69 – which is about 5.3% of their retail value!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Pieces can get snatched up quickly, and the number of pieces they have per style varies. You may or may not see these pieces in their available inventory list – but you might just see something you like even more! This isn’t a “styled” subscription – meaning you can pick exactly what you want from the available list – it’s not selected for you based on an algorithm or your preferences.

Value Breakdown: These three pieces cost $69 to rent, which is a great deal if it works for your budget and needs. It’s pricier than Rocksbox (which offers mid-range designer jewelry) but less than Rent the Runway (which offers designer jewelry, accessories, and clothes, too). To rent just one piece per month is $29, so you’re saving about $6 per piece to go for the larger subscription.
The member price for all 3 of these pieces is $910 in total. At retail, they’d cost $1,300. Members get $10.00 to put towards a piece, so that’s $900 to buy everything, which is around a 30% discount.
