The Zakka Kit April 2019 Review
The front of the info card has the theme (which is "Sakura Season") and a short explanation.
The reverse side has a list of the items with descriptions and a total value.
A6 Sakura Pink Notebook
This thick notebook is my favorite color of pale pink and is filled with pages and pages of blank paper. The paper itself feels very delicate and is semi-sheer. I feel quite fancy writing on it! As a side note, these sheets also make for incredible blotting papers.
Sakura Stickers
These stickers just feel like springtime. They are different sakura blossoms on backgrounds of blue and pink, and they have a wonderful texture.
Pink Flower Washi Tape
Washi tape is something I tend to expect from Japanese stationary subscriptions so I was happy to see such a pretty pink roll included in this month's box. It is a soft abstract flower pattern that is perfect for springtime letter writing or a host of other creative uses.
Signo Pink Ball Pen
I am loving this pink theme. This pretty pen has a very fine 0.38 tip, which makes it perfect for super sharp scribbles or notes.
Kimono Accessories Mini Card
This cute little mini card has illustrations of traditional kimono accessories. It is a perfect little notecard to send a sweet note to a girlfriend.
Girl & Sakura Art Print
This is one of my favorite things from this box because I love art prints. The colors used on this one really speak to me. I love the red gloves and yellow hooded coat against the clusters of pink blossoms. It reminds me of those spring days where everything is indeed starting to bloom, but the wind is still blowing and there can still be a chill in the air.
Self-Inking Sakura Stamp
Finally, we received a small and bright pink sakura blossom stamp. It is the perfect way to complete your next springtime letter. Be careful not to press down too hard, or you might end up with a plum blossom instead of a true sakura!
Verdict: Zakka Kit was so pink and flowery this month. These are two of my favorite things so I was quite pleased. The lovely pink notepad now lives on my desk at all times, for my note scribbling and face blotting convenience! I use the cute little stamp to check off tasks as done on my ongoing to-do list and my new pink pen fits right in too! The art print is small enough to enjoy at work as well (I placed it on a nearby wall with my cute washi tape!), so most of these items will be hanging out with me in the office instead of going home.
