YogaClub Guru Subscription March 2019 Review
This month, I received a pair of patterned leggings and coordinating sports bra and tank. Let's check them out!
Onzie Chic Bra in Blush, M - Retail Value $49
This color is no longer offered on Onzie's site but it is available in several other pretty shades. I didn't think I was going to fit into this bra at first because it looks tiny in hand. Thankfully, I was able to shimmy it down onto my bust, though my shoulders weren't happy with the contortion I had to do. I'm going to up my bra size to a size large on my style profile for next month to see if I can give myself some more room.
As for the style, I really like the strappy back, moderate coverage front, and full lining. Like many other sports bras I've gotten from YogaClub, I think this would make a super cute bathing suit top for active days in the water.
Niyama Sol Granite Stripe Barefoot Legging, M - Retail Value $88
I received a pair of these leggings (in a different color) in my very first box of YogaClub. I love the fact that they are made with recycled plastic fabric, have 4-way stretch, and are sweat wicking. And, I'm digging the pattern and colors. But, as I found out last time, the thin material is see-through, especially when doing squats. And, while I'm a fan of a wide waistband, this one just will not stay up where it belongs. I thought that exchanging for a size up would help with these issues, but unfortunately, it didn't. I think this style of leggings just isn't right for my body.
Vie Active Ceci Tank in Off-White, M - Retail Value $48
This simple, off-white tank top is soft and slinky – perfect for layering over cute sports bras in the hot summer months. It's long enough to cover most of my butt and has a feminine, curvy fit. While not the most interesting piece, I'm certain I'll get a lot of use out of it since it will coordinate with almost any bottom I have.
The Verdict: I've learned a couple of things after this month's YogaClub. First, I need to update my sports bra size in my style profile, which is easy. 🙂 Second, the Barefoot legging style from Niyama Sol just isn't for me. I like my outfit style overall but when I fill out my feedback survey, I'm going to make a note about that particular style and see if I can avoid it in the future. YogaClub does offer exchanges (though I'd be responsible for shipping costs) and they have a swap group that subscribers can join. While this isn't my best month, I have enjoyed receiving coordinating workout outfits from great brands each month.
