Yogi Surprise is a monthly health and wellness subscription box that sends you natural goodies each month. Some items may be specifically for yoga, but in general, this is more of a lifestyle box. Yogi Surprise also offers a monthly Jewelry Box (read our reviews here!) and a Men’s Box!
This is a review of the Yogi Surprise Lifestyle box, which is $44.95 a month.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Yogi Surprise "Chikitsa" Review
Here is the info sheet for this month’s box. This month’s theme is “Chikitsa,” which literally translates to therapy and cure.
Each month we receive a new yoga sequence, and I love the little rainbow poses!
Selenite Wand
This 8’ selenite wand is fancy! I have never had a crystal wand before, and it can be used for energy cleansing, meditation, healing, and unblocking stagnant energy. Selenite can also be used to help align your chakras, and even if crystal energy isn’t your thing, you cannot deny this is a beautiful wand.
Chikitsa Detox Bath Salts
These bath salts smell AMAZING thanks to the blend of lemongrass and sweet orange oil, so I was bummed when I realized the lid had come off in transit and had spilled my salts! Luckily, the Yogi Surprise customer service team was fabulous, and my replacement bath salts are already in the mail to me. Along with smelling like an exotic snack, these are made with Himalayan pink salt and vitamin E oil to nourish and detoxify.
I Love Gurus Conservation Bracelet – Retail Value $5
This bracelet is a twist on the wish bracelet- rather than making a wish come true when it falls off, a tree is planted for each bracelet sold and for each photo posted to social media with their hashtag! I find the small silver tree charm to be quite charming, and though this isn’t my style I have a dear friend who lives in Alaska (we met as camp counselors working on the Kenai Peninsula!) who I know will love this bracelet and the cause it stands for.
Pure Sol Turmeric Konjac Body Sponge – Retail Value $12.99
I have had multiple konjac sponges for my face (which I love), but this is the first konjac sponge for my body! This is essentially just a larger face sponge that has been infused with turmeric, and it is a gentle sponge that lathers well with my assorted bath soaps. I also appreciate that a small hook to hang the sponge on in your shower was included so it can dry out and not get mildew-y.
Sage Smudge Stick
I was so excited when I saw this- I have been wanting to try smudging for so long! Sage is used for banishing negative energy, so I am going to be smudging my apartment right before finals start in a few weeks. Duchess also really liked this stick, so this is going to be safe in a drawer she can’t open until it’s time to use it (because there are some drawers she CAN open).
Beecause Charcoal and Clay Face Mask, 1 oz – Retail Value $5
This face mask only has three ingredients- raw honey, bentonite clay, and activated charcoal! That is an ingredients list I can get behind, and honestly, my only complaint is the packaging - having a viscous, honey-based mask in a pouch rather than a jar made it difficult to get the product out without making a mess. This has a nice honey scent, and it was gentle on my active breakouts.
Piper Wai Natural Deodorant, 2.7 oz – Retail Value $16.99
This deodorant is made with activated charcoal and is free from aluminum, parabens, and synthetic fragrances. I confess that I just cannot quit my trusty stick of Secret Outlast Extend, but I know this is a popular natural deodorant brand. If you have sensitive skin I would be careful, just because there are a lot of essential oils in here like tea tree, eucalyptus, and tangerine.
The Verdict: Yogi Surprise is one of my favorite subscription boxes to receive every month, and I thought this was another great month. The detox theme was thoughtfully curated, and I enjoyed the wide assortment of items chosen. Even the small issue with my bath salts was handled quickly, which is something I think we all can appreciate. Value-wise, the info card says this box has a total value of $80.98, and I was able to find a value for about half of the items that equaled $39.98.
