ZBox Review March 2019
Justice League T-Shirt
I like this black and minimal t-shirt that has symbols from each of the Justice League's heroes. The main elements are in white ink, while the background elements have a dark grey ink color that is really subtle but adds a ton to the overall design.
Lord of the Rings Aluminum Water Bottle - Retail Value $12.45
This metal water bottle is lightweight and comes with a built-in straw for easy sipping! The front has the famous LotR logo and ring, while the back of the bottle has text over a super subtle map of Middle Earth.
Hala the Accuser Funko Pop - Retail Value $7.00
I really don't know much about this character or the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise but what I can say about this Funko is that it is so cool looking! I love her metallic green painted armor, cool sword, and pretty fashion-forward hair. As far as Funkos go, this one is really well painted and cool enough that I am tempted to display it even though I have no connection to this franchise.
Justice League Gods & Monsters Wonder Woman Action Figure - Retail Value $24.95 (found here for $16.76)
I am a little confused about this character because I am not up to date on DC anything these days. I believe this is a figurine of the alternative Wonder Woman in the Gods and Monsters universe? Is anyone able to clarify? Regardless of who she is, the model itself is really very cool and comes with alternate hands and a base you can use to display her in your favorite action pose.
Star Wars Stormtrooper Gift Set
This little kit comes with a dog tag necklace, thicker faux leather snaps bracelet, and a thinner band. This felt a little cheapie and juvenile to me personally, but I could see a diehard Stormtrooper fan loving it.
Verdict: ZBox was a little off for me this month. Some of that was because the items felt really random together. Some if it was because I wasn't really into many of the fandoms this month or didn't know anything about them. I know Funk fans will be excited to get a POP figure this month and even I will admit that the Wonder Woman action figure is really well done and very cool, even if I am confused about her backstory. The LotR water bottle is a nice piece and the Justice League shirt is a great design. I did not like the Star Wars accessory kit. The value is here this month, I just think I would have liked it more if I had been into these specific franchises.
