April 2019 Brick Loot “BRICK-TECH UNIVERSE” Review
Each delivery arrives with a card that details each item in your box. This month, all of the items tie into the technology theme of the box.
Exclusive! 100% LEGO® Build – CEO Desk - Designed by Parker Krex
This first build contains 59 pieces, and when assembled created a CEO desk and chair, complete with a desktop PC, stack of papers, and some other desktop embellishments. It's pretty true to scale with the minifigure as you can see in the photo. This build is perfect for keeping on your own [CEO or other] desk!
Exclusive! Mini City Technology Store
I always love adding a business to my mini city, and this technology store has an astounding amount of details! This build contained 118 well thought out pieces. I don't think it's too far of a stretch of my imagination to liken this building with a Microsoft store (especially given the color tiles on the roof) and I love that it includes a seating area and a laptop computer that really opens to reveal a teeny-tiny keyboard.
Exclusive! Money Pack
I love money, and I love fun packs! This fun pack includes 10 assorted payment bricks – cash, checks, and all major brick-tech universe credit cards. Surely, all of these payments can be used at our other mini-city locations, including our newly minted technology store!
Exclusive! Creator of the OS – Pad printed LEGO® Minifigure
Each month an exclusive minifigure is included. This month, the lego figure is a CEO, and kind of a silver fox with his gray hair and dimple – but I digress. He’s carrying a stack of cash (as attractive to me as the previously mentioned dimple, but again I digress) and a laptop that really opens and closes!
Verdict: This was a great month for Brick Loot! I loved the theme, execution, and quality of each of the items included in the box.
It's difficult to calculate the exact value received due to the exclusive items. This box is $33 ($27 + $6 shipping) and I received 4 items. Considering them all equally it's like you are paying $8.25 per item. Given the quality of the items and the mini-city inclusion, I feel that I got my money’s worth this month!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You'll find the currently available theme in their top banner of the website.
