Wow! I spent $50 yesterday so that I could use this promo. I got an email today that part of my order was out of stock and cancelled. Guess what is cancelled? Yup, the Play box. 😡

Mee too. I just spent $72 yesterday. Wish I would of waited. I ended up getting a repeat of an item I already have for my promo code but at least it’s something I needed more of. I would of liked to get this though. I canceled my play sub a while ago but a free box would of been nice.

I responded to my own comment earlier but I wanted to make sure you saw the info I shared. I called Sephora customer service and they shipped me the play box from the promo. I’m kind of miffed that they emailed me telling me it was out of stock when they clearly had some left but I’m happy that they made it right for me. Hopefully you can contact them and get yours, or have them apply a different promo code so you can at least get something with your order.

Unfortunately, they’re only offering two different Play! boxes for this, neither of which is great.
Both have Supergoop sunscreen, Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, and a fragrance. One has Drybar 3-in-1, a NARS lip color, and eye makeup remover; the other is Devacurl low-poo cleanser, Amika dry shampoo, and NARS bronzer.
I was also not able to stack another GWP code on top of the PLAYTIME code.
It’s too bad that the free boxes aren’t things we haven’t already gotten 10 times because the physical gift card purchase Luna recommends does appear to work perfectly for it.

I agree! I made an order on Friday and chose the version with the bronzer (I don’t need more lip products.. or bronzers really..) But I’m also not subbed to Play, so these are all products I’m excited to try for free.
I’m running low on eye primer, and even if this is a deluxe sample size – it should last awhile. Also excited for the sunscreen! I know I need to be better about everyday sun protection.
I think it’s a great promo to get people who could be on the fence about wanting to join. They have other promos that can be used (although this seems to be the best deal), so it’s not like you have to get this GWP if you already have everything from subbing to this box.

Sure, it’s totally a YMMV thihng – I’m already subscribed to Play and have received most of those items, some repeatedly. The ones I only have one of, I just got in the past month or two.

If you can’t think of anything to get for the free box right now, you can add an inexpensive item to your cart, then purchase a physical (not electronic) gift card to bring your cart up to $50 to get the free box. I tested it out, and I added a $2 Sephora mask and a $50 physical gift card, and I was able to add the box. As usual, if you are Rouge or have purchased Flash shipping you will get free shipping on the purchase. This also works with other gwps as well 🙂

I spent way more than that during the VIB sale. But since Sephora only lets you use one coupon code at a time, I’d much rather get 15% off than a free $10 box to a subscription a cancelled months ago. I saved quite a bit.
