This information card was included. On the front is information about items included in both the Essentials box and the Premium box, and on the reverse is information about the items included in the Premium box only.

White Checkered Blouse – Listed Value $45

This top is super cute! I love the layered look! I don't love that it's sleeveless, but that can be remedied with any number of outer layers. This is a lightweight crepe, and with the design, it is just perfect for spring. It also fits well and is comfortable, and I think it looks pretty good on me, too. (Plus everything looks better with the sunglasses I got from the March Once Upon a Book Club subscription!)

OMG Mega Hair Band by Double Dare - Retail Value $8

OK, so I would obviously never wear this outside of my home, but I'm not actually sure that's the intent. It's a soft and absorptive terry cloth material, so I am thinking it is for keeping wet hair off of your face while you apply makeup. The bow is detachable. OMG! It's pretty different, but it might also be useful.

OMG! Hair Up Bow Pins by Double Dare – Retail Value $10

These pins I'm not so sure about. They are not my style at all, and I'm trying to think of whose style they might be, and I'm drawing a blank. They are big clips, so if they didn't have the large stuffed bows, I would think, OK, they are for clipping my hair up during styling, but the bows would get in the way. Fortunately, the bows are removable so they can still be used that way. Maybe my 12-year-old niece would like the bows.

Stockholm Rose Nourishing Hand Cream by Duft & Doft - Retail Value $8.66, Listed Value $12

What is it about Korea that allows them to make creams that are so much creamier than the ones we have here? This hand cream is pretty inexpensive, but it has a really luxe feeling! It's super thick and creamy, but it absorbs quickly. It also has a nice rose fragrance that is not too strong and dissipates pretty quickly. It left my hands feeling smooth and soft.

Silver Leather Phone Pocket by iDecoz - Retail Value $9.99

This phone pocket is such a good idea! It keeps everything together when you just want to put your phone and cards in your pocket instead of carrying a bag. I get so paranoid about losing something when I have multiple things in my pockets, and this way everything stays in a nice bundle that's easy to feel if it falls out. Plus I think the silver is a fun color to receive!

The following items are in the Plus Size Premium Box only.

Darling Spring Jacket – Listed Value $55

It turns out I'm in charge of The Matrix! Haha! That's how this duster makes me feel. It actually looks really cute, and I love the half belt across the back. It's an unlined lightweight rayon blend, so it is probably cool enough for most areas of the country at this time of year. I don't think black is really a springtime color, but on the other hand, I think I wear black all year anyway, so it's all good.

my fashion crate april 2019 - socks Topmy fashion crate april 2019 - socks 2 Top

Black Floral Lace Socks - Listed Value $9

These socks are really a strange inclusion in this box. They are not my style at all. I was trying to decide if they might have more appeal as fold-over socks, but I just don't think I would wear them. They are also not particularly comfortable, nor are they something I would wear around the house as the info card suggests. Do people wear black lace around the house? Is this a fun new thing I am missing out on? My niece might like these also.

The Verdict: This month's package from My Fashion Crate was not my favorite. It might just be my particular tastes, but I really wasn't into the OMG stuff or the socks. On the other hand, the clothes fit well this month and were pretty cute, and the hand cream is fantastic! And I still feel like you get a lot with this subscription! The total value of the items is $149 this month, so the value is awesome!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. If you order before the 15th you will receive the April box. From My Fashion Crate:

Keep the hand cream and cell phone cover but donate or toss everything else.

This is the only use I can think of for those socks! https://www.marthastewart.com/1083262/no-carve-lace-pumpkins

I think the headband with the big bow is used to hold your hair out of your face while putting on makeup or wearing a face mask or washing your face. I think the two pink bow clips can be used in the same way. But, they are pretty hilarious though.

Those fuzzy items & those lace things are so weird.
But the blouse & the sweater look so great!
It’s like the box doesn’t know if it’s classy, or grab-bag. I think they should decide.

This is the best. You straight-faced took pics w giant bows on. You killed it. Seriously i almost peed my pants. The bows, socks and duster are totally made to be worn together. Thank you.

OMG! I never noticed this before…but you have great hair! I am rather envious.

Gurllll OMG was my reaction when I saw that HUGE bow! Such ridiculousness. I appreciate you trying them on Anna. I would think the pins could be used for the same purpose as the headband, meaning you could pin back the sides of your hair to apply skincare and/or makeup. Might come in handy for those that side part. I guess the most positive thing with those OMG items are won’t be easily lost, since they are so visible lol.
I honestly thought the jacket had a full belt when I saw the picture from the back, since it goes across the entire back and it is so loosely draped. And I must agree it’s a rather strange inclusion to be called a “Spring jacket”.
And those socks!! No, you aren’t missing out on anything Anna. Do the socks go all the way up (inside the lace), maybe you could cut the lace off if they are. If they are just socks to where the lace starts, I am clueless what to do with them. Ugh. So sorry.
Usually I am upset with this box due to fairly consistent small sizing. This time I am just truly saddened by the curation. I would have been upset if I had even paid half the price of the box. I hope someone from Fashion Crate reads this!

I love you for trying on those OMG products. 😘

I agree, the blouse is really different and looks great with the duster

The OMG bows definitely don’t look like they belong in any adult boxes, those are definitely for kids under the age of 12.

Michelle

The blouse looks awesome but those OMG products, what a waste.

The phone pocket is a game changer! I’ve been using the one that came in a PopSugar box (fall, I think?) and it’s super convenient. I keep my debit card and license in it and now when I want to run out to lunch or do a quick errand I just have to grab my phone without dragging my purse.
Also, the blouse and duster look great on you!
