Orglamix is a vegan and cruelty-free beauty subscription containing loose shadows, glitter pigments, aromatherapy roll-ons, and more. Many of the items in the subscription will be unique to the subscription and not available in the Orglamix shop (although they will have the same great formula).
They are now doing custom box prints every month and they’re quite pretty.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Orglamix April 2019 “Aloha” Box Review
This month’s theme is “Aloha.” Let’s see how Orglamix incorporated that theme into the month’s items:
The box came with an information card detailing the items and theme for January. It sometimes also lists ingredients, which is nice since these items aren’t typically available in their online shop.
Kona Cleansing Conditioner – Listed Value $9
I normally shampoo every day and haven’t had the greatest luck with cleansing conditioners (Wen, mostly) in the past, but I figured I would give this a go. I do feel like my hair was soft and less frizzy the next day but am still undecided about how clean I felt. Something like this might be an “every now and then” item for me, although I am reinspired to try this type of product and may look for one at Ulta with similar ingredients (this is not part of the normal Orglamix product lineup). This smells pretty good.
Hibiscus and Awapuhi Perfume Oil – Listed Value $15
One thing you can usually expect from Orglamix is a fragrance product. Often it will be a roll-on perfume oil, as this was, although sometimes you get various sprays, solid perfumes, and once even a scented candle. This is very fruity and tropical and wonderful for summer activities, I think.
Kukui Nut Bath and Body Oil – Listed Value $14
I have only tried this as a body oil so far, and not in the bath. It has a nutty fragrance and a little goes a long way for me (the skin on my legs, etc., is not super dry, though). It is kind of nice to have a lightweight moisturizing product for summertime, though, and this works.
Hawaiian Beauty Water – Listed Value $18
OK, this one smells a little medicinal, I guess it is from some of the essential oils. Think of this as a gentle chemical peel, with papaya enzyme instead of a harsh acid (this does have ascorbic acid, but that’s vitamin C and pretty common in skincare products). I have been using it as a toner, but not every day (per the information booklet). It’s hard to say what the impact is just yet, but it has not irritated my skin and that’s a wonderful start since my skin is a bit sensitive.
“Aloha” Natural Eyeshadow – Listed Value $12.50
Another item you can usually expect from Orglamix is a loose mineral eyeshadow. I was a little worried at how blue this was, at first, but as you can see in the swatch, this appears fairly light on the skin and will work for me. These blend well and don’t irritate my eyes. (I do wear them over primer.)
Here’s a swatch of the eyeshadow.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $68.50 for the April Orglamix subscription box. The items this month were all exclusive for this box, so I had to rely a lot on the information card but they seem in line with past boxes. I thought the colors were wearable and that the overall variety of items was great (plus almost everything smelled fabulous). I was happy to receive numerous summer-appropriate items and scents and the eyeshadow color was definitely wearable for me.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, this was April’s box and they say they ship around the 10th (in practice, it may be a week or two after that before the box actually ships, although this month’s box was received somewhat later than usual). You’d probably get the May or June box as your first one.
