Oui Please Volume 4.3 “De La Fleur” Review
Filt France Bag – Listed Value $18 (buy a similar bag from Filt for $19 here)
This market bag is simple, but it is so practical and I find myself using it every time I go to the store! The cotton bag stretches out far beyond what it looks, and I love that this is a much more environmentally friendly option than the plastic bags when buying produce at the grocery store.
Here is the bag holding a moisturizer and a random lemon.
And here it is at the grocery store holding about 20 protein bars (there was a sale!). This bag stretches, and it honestly could have held another 20 protein bars.
I chose the olive green shade, but here are what two of the other colors looked like.
Les Nereides Paris Flower Necklace – Retail Value $132
Ever since I first heard of Oui Please, I have been wanting a Les Nereides piece of my very own. Luckily, Volume 4.3 made it happen. Subscribers had the choice between three different necklaces (the other two options were a butterfly and a ladybug), and I am happy with my decision to go with the flower. The colors are vibrant and eye-catching, but the charm is small enough that it isn’t ostentatious. This will brighten up my simple wardrobe, and I like that the chain hits right at my collarbone. My only complaint is that this necklace comes with a spring clasp, which I couldn’t fasten on my own thanks to my long nails. I actually ended up taking this to my local jeweler, and they ordered a lobster clasp for me and replaced the spring clasp for less than $10.
Soi Paris Silk Scarf in Tiger – Listed Value $57 (buy a different scarf with a higher silk content for $72.95 here)
This is my first silk piece, and I have been wearing it a lot more than I thought I would! The scarf is 80/20 cotton/silk, and it is the perfect size to wear as a headband. I chose the tiger print (I am about to become an LSU Tiger Alumnus, after all!), but subscribers also could have chosen la Mer or les flechettes. I can really tell that this is a high-quality piece, and I love how unique this is - I definitely don’t see other people wearing headbands or scarves like this one!
Here I am wearing the scarf and the necklace.
And here are what the other two prints looked like.
Rose Et Marius Scented Tile in Mint – Retail Value $43.69 (€39,00)
I have always wanted to try a product from Rose Et Marius, and I am so excited to finally be able to. Subscribers had their choice of three fragrances, and I went with mint. To use, you put a few drops on the engraved tile and then hang the tile wherever you want to enjoy the fragrance (like your closet or your drawers). The mint perfume is an earthy mint that smells very natural and refreshing, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The scent isn’t strong enough to fill a room, but it is perfect for smaller spaces. I also love the attention to detail shown throughout the product - even the strap that the tile hangs on is lovely.
C. Lavie Eye Contour, Full-Size! Retail Value $70
We got to try the moisturizer from this brand in Volume 4.2, and I was impressed with the ingredients list. The same is true for this eye cream, with the first ingredient being rose water. This also has aloe, caffeine, and hyaluronic acid. It is gentle and hydrating, and while I don’t deal with puffiness in my eyes I do feel like this helped to make my eyes look more awake.
Nailmatic Nail Polish – Retail Value $12
Nailmatic is an eco-friendly nail polish brand that 10-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and 84% bio-based. They also introduced nail polish vending machines in France! I received a pretty metallic silver shade that I can't find online, but I am happy with it- I always enjoy shimmery shades. Metallic polishes have a tendency to show brush strokes, but I didn’t have a big issue with that. After sealing with a top coat, this lasted for a full week without chipping.
We The Birds French Macarons – Retail Value $20
There are two types of people - those who see their macarons arrived crumbled and are very disappointed, and those who see their macarons arrived crumbled and say "heck yeah, now I get more macarons." I am firmly in the second camp, and Oui Please was expeditious in sending out my replacement macarons when I let them know my first box arrived damaged. Look at these beauties! Along with being gorgeous to look at, these also tasted incredible. The flavors sent were almond amaretto, lemon poppy seed, lavender earl grey honey, French vanilla, strawberry champagne, and dark chocolate sea salt. All of them were absolutely delicious, but my favorites were dark chocolate sea salt (which tasted like chocolate ganache) and the French vanilla (which was anything but basic vanilla). Even though they were mailed, they weren't dry or stale, and I enjoyed the creative assortment of flavors sent.
Andree Jardin Traditional Dish Brush with Beech Handle – Retail Value $7.95
From what I can tell online, Andree Jardin is an old-school high-quality maker of all brushes- hair brushes, brooms, and more. This is made with genuine French beech wood, and the head can be removed from the handle and used as a pot brush. This is such a unique, yet functional, item that definitely makes a simple task like doing the dishes more luxurious.
The Verdict: I have had my eye on Oui Please for over a year, and I definitely think this is the best box they have come out with. Including amazing French brands like Les Nereides and Rose Et Marius is always a smart move, and I absolutely loved the macarons and the Filt bag. Value-wise, this box promises a value of at least $300 in every box, and by my math, this box had a total value of $360.64. If you love the French aesthetic, I highly recommend waiting until a coupon is available for this box and then taking the splurge (our spoilers will include the latest deal!).
To Wrap Up:
Can you get this box if you sign up today? I don’t believe so. I think if you sign up you will get Volume 4.4 (check out our latest Oui Please spoilers to learn more!)
Value Breakdown: This box cost $150 with free shipping and I calculated a total value of $360.64. That means you are paying approximately the following per item (less if you signed up with a coupon!):

- Soi Paris: $23.70
- Rose Et Marius: $18.17
