Peaches and Petals April 2019 Box Review
This subscription always comes with a card that doesn't really have product info but usually has a promo for another box. This month features Jewelry Tree (check out our reviews here!).
Hallmark Crafters & Co. 'Cashmere & Pearls' Candle
The first thing I noticed about this candle is that the ceramic pot it comes in is very heavy. The scent is strong but not offensively so, and it easily filled a medium sized room. It smells like cotton and fresh air. It is a soy-based candle wax, but I sadly couldn't find any real info ingredient wise. I rather like it and find it an appropriate spring scent and I plan on using the pretty ceramic pot after for a makeup brush holder.
ME! Bath Pomegranate Shower Sherbet, 16 oz - Retail Value $14.99 (currently out of stock)
I fully expected this giant tub of scrub to have an overly sweet fruit scent that I was prepared to not like very much. I am pleased to say that while it did smell fruity, it was also somewhat floral and on the perfumy side. This suits me just fine! Loaded with organic jojoba oil and vitamin E, this USA made scrub was awesome for exfoliation! It left a very soft scent on my skin. A little goes a long way, so expect to get quite a few uses out of this big tub!
Note Pad
I always have room for more notepads. This one is handy because it is long and lined: perfect for lists! It also has a handy magnet on the back so you can stick it to the fridge and cute holographic details. We actually received the same one back in December, so I am thinking these might have been overstock from then, especially with the little Peaches Favorite sticker. Either way, this will absolutely get used in my office.
Casabella Silicone Baking Mat - Retail Value $10.24
I LOVE these silicone baking mats! They are a great alternative to aluminum foil because they can be reused over and over and I personally find that things stick less to it. This one features some handy conversion charts, a pie crust ring measuring tool, and a ruler. These mats are very easy to clean, just soak in warm water.
My Beauty Spot Avo+Cado Sheet Mask Set
We received the Lavender+Honey version of this same mask set last month. This avocado version has the same clear, non-sticky serum and a very, very faint scent that I can't quite place. They fit my face well and added a nice bit of moisture to my skin. I did feel kind of weird about the back of the mask's info on the mask bags themselves actually being specifically for the lavender honey mask, while this one was avocado, which also means the ingredient list was incorrect as it was also likely for the other mask.
Verdict: Peaches and Petals was very eclectic this month. I actually think, as far as this sub goes, this was a pretty decent box. The candle felt like it was of decent quality and the scent was nice. The scrub was actually a pretty expensive item and again, I liked the scent. The notebook felt a little bit like filler, but at least it was 100% useful. I am pleasantly surprised by the baking sheet and happy to receive it as I use these a lot in my home. The masks were just fine, but getting a whole box is always nice. The value here is a bit of a guessing game since I couldn't find all the items, but you have at least $35 between just the scrub and the baking mat.
