Sephora Favorites Perfume Travel Sampler Review
Here is the info sheet for the perfumes included. On the other side is the information you need to redeem for your rollerball or travel spray, so make sure to keep this safe!
Chloé Chloé Nomade Eau de Parfum, 0.04 oz – Estimated Value $3.64 (Certificate redeems for 0.33 oz Travel Spray that costs $30)
This perfume was a winner, with notes of oakmoss, freesia, Mirabelle liquor. It is a free-spirited floral that makes me want to wear a flower crown while I walk around barefoot. This had the staying power to hang with me all day, but I wouldn't classify it as a "strong" fragrance- it is definitely more light and airy.
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Eau de Parfum, 0.04 oz – Estimated Value $2.91 (Certificate redeems for 0.34 oz Rollerball that costs $24)
I’ve owned this perfume before and enjoyed it. The combination of mint, jasmine, lemon, and brown sugar really make for an alluring scent—it isn’t too strong or cloying, but it doesn’t hide in the background either. This lasted throughout the day and I kept smelling my arm where I applied it.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau de Toilette, 0.04 oz – Estimated Value $3.27 (Certificate redeems for 0.33 oz Travel Spray that costs $27)
Marc Jacobs Daisy has always been a fragrance I liked but never loved, but Daisy Love is a different story! This has scent notes of “crystalized cloudberries, daisy tree petals, cashmere musks, and driftwood.” I am not sure what crystalized cloudberries are, but the warmth of the driftwood and cashmere really elevates this floral fragrance to be right in my element. It lasted all day on me, and this is one of my favorite scents in the box.
Tocca Stella Eau de Parfum, 0.04 oz – Estimated Value $3.27 (Certificate redeems for 0.33 oz Rollerball that costs $27)
I love Tocca and I usually adore their perfumes, but this one was a bust. While the scent itself is nice with notes of blood orange, white freesia, and sandalwood, this perfume just did not last long on my body at all. Within a few hours, the scent was gone, and I tried it out on two separate occasions. Bummer!
Tory Burch Nuit Azur Eau de Parfum, 0.05 oz – Estimated Value $7.50 (Certificate redeems for 0.20 oz Rollerball that costs $30)
I love Tory Burch, and while this perfume smells great with notes of violet leaf, salty fig, freesia, and cedarwood, it isn't the perfume for me. It didn't smell bad on me, and I thought it had a good wear time, but it didn't make me go "wow." Perfumes are such a personal choice for everyone, and for me, I just want to be wowed by the perfumes I use.
Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar Eau de Parfum, 0.04 oz – Estimated Value $5.12
(Certificate redeems for 0.25 oz Travel Spray that costs $32 )
So, the website says that this redeems for a rollerball- but Sephora doesn't sell a rollerball in this fragrance, so my assumption is that you actually will get a travel spray (plus the item number on the scent certificate matches the item number for the travel spray). That makes a big difference to me because I found the scent of orange blossom, bergamot oil, and "living gunpowder" to be absolutely intoxicating. The scent lasted on me all day, and if I really do get to redeem for the travel spray this is probably my top pick in the box.
The Verdict: I have been wanting to branch out from my typical go-to perfume (Nest black tulip, a forever love), and I thought this floral scented kit was perfect for doing that. I like the variety of brands that were included, and most of the scents were brand new to me. There were multiple winners in this kit, but my top two were Flowerbomb Nectar and Daisy Love. If you like floral perfumes, I definitely recommend picking this set up (especially with the VIP sale going on until May 6!).
