You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – many styles are only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. In my Shoedazzle reviews, I've talked about Shoedazzle heels, sandals, sneakers, and even their dresses and jumpsuits. But I hadn't yet given Shoedazzle jeans a shot. So this month, I picked out a pair of high-waisted jeans to try. Are Shoedazzle jeans worth it? Read on to find out!

How does Shoedazzle work?
If you're new to Shoedazzle, here's how it works. First, they have you complete a style profile, communicating your preferences. On the 1st of every month, Shoedazzle releases new shoes, clothing, accessories—the items that best match your profile will appear in your "Showroom" page for easy access, but you can browse the entire site, if you'd prefer. Shoedazzle works like JustFab or Fabletics (which makes sense, as they exist under the same umbrella company), in that members get to either make a purchase or choose the "skip" option for the month (via a button in their account) by the 5th. If you take no action, you'll be charged $39.95, which will save as a store credit on your account.

High-Rise Destroyed Skinny Denim Jeans in Black, Size 11 - Retail Value $56.95, Member Price $39.95
Shoedazzle has a really wide selection of jeans, from stiffer cotton styles to comfy stretch denim. I was a little wary of trying a jean brand I'd never tried before—my curvier hips and thighs can be tricky to fit—so I opted for a style that 1) is high-waisted (my go-to) and 2) has some stretch in the mix. (These are 97% cotton/3% spandex.)
As it turns out, I picked right! These jeans are so comfy—they're stretchy but have a nice thickness to them. I'm impressed that they don't gap in the back, either. The sizing is in juniors' numbers (I usually wear a women's 10, but these are an 11), so I was worried the cut would be narrow or not-so-accommodating to my womanly hips and booty. Not the case!
I also really dig the way these jeans are destroyed. The shredded bits aren't so obliterated that the jeans look like they're about to fall apart, nor do they fall into this pseudo-destroyed style that I've seen more and more often lately, where the jeans are shredded, but there's still a layer of solid fabric behind it.
The shreds also go almost all the way up the front of each leg, which is kind of a cool, edgy vibe.
And here's a look at the back. I'm into the pocket placement.
The Verdict: I was really pleased with these Shoedazzle jeans! They're what I'd expect to get for about $40—comfy and forgiving yet sturdy, flattering and well-fitted. Hello new favorite summer jeans!
