Succulents Box April 2019
I received a care instructions card for healthy plants.
I also received an invoice for my order.
My box also included an insert for Marika with a code for $20 off a $50 purchase.
Ripple Jade Crassula
I adored this plant as soon as I took it out of its bubble wrap. It's pretty small right now, but if it remains happy and healthy it could get to 3 or 4 feet! Like many succulents, this jade doesn’t need a lot of water, but if the leaves start to look wrinkled, it will let me know when it needs a drink.
Crassula Conjuncta
This little plant was delivered a little droopy and one of the leaves was even a little browned. As soon as I took it out of the bubble wrap, I immediately put it in a planter with succulent soil and placed it outside in hopes that it will snap itself back to health. This plant can grow up to 10” tall if taken care of! If it gets the right amount of sun, the edges will even turn pink. I really hope this one will make it and grow happy and healthy.
Adromischus Cristatus
This plant is definitely my favorite one this month. I love the shape of the leaves on this slow-growing succulent, they remind me of pasta. As soon as my oldest daughter saw them, she said the same thing. They are really soft to the touch because they have tiny little hairs on them. Like all my plants I receive, I am excited to see what this one does and see it thrive.
Perle Von Nurnberg
What a pretty plant! This is the kind of plant I used to think of when thinking succulent and reminds me of a “classic” plant. This echeveria isn’t like others I received being pink in color. When it flowers in the summer, it should bloom bright coral flowers – I cannot wait!
Verdict: I am always excited to open up my Succulents subscription every month, especially now more than ever. We have recently bought our house and are able to make changes, so we uprooted this horrible ugly tree in front of the house and I have started a succulent garden! This part of the house gets a good amount of sunshine but only for a couple of hours, then its all shade, but the heat is still there. I really think it’s the perfect spot for them to thrive, so I will be updating more often as they bloom. Though they have recently upped the cost by $5 per plant, I think it is still a pretty fair price for the plants. They are always well wrapped and are very rarely in poor shape.
