The Zakka Kit May 2019 Review
The front of the info card has the theme (which is "Spring Cats") and a short explanation.
The reverse side has a list of the items with descriptions and a total value.
A6 Spring Cat Memo Pad
This might be the cutest little kitty notebook ever. I love the blush cover color and the simple but darling neko illustration. Inside is graph paper which is really handy to keep in my purse as I do tons of list writing and sketching and I appreciate the helpful lines. I also just love this cat because its mix of patterns reminds me of an abstract version of my cat, Birdie, who also has a little bit of everything: stripes, orange spots, white feet!
Spring Cat Mini Letterset
These chubby little calico kitties are beyond cute. This mini notecard set has a total of 15 sheets, 5 envelopes, and 6 stickers. I love the minimal design and the handsome kraft paper envelopes. These would be perfect for writing little notes to your fellow cat lover.
Spring Cat Balloon Stickers
These funny stickers feature cats (and one little mouse!) as charming balloons. They are on a clear shiny film. They would make the perfect stickers to seal envelopes or just stick all over the place for a smile.
Signo Fine Green Ballpen
This is one fine tipped pen! The spring green color is really unique and beautiful. I do a lot of sketching on the go and this might be my new go-to for quickly creating grass in many springtime landscape doodles.
Pink Sign Pen
I love pink and I love marker pens, so this is a new addition to my collection that I just love! The tip is very bold and HOT pink!
Monpuchi Cat Washi Tape
This washi tape is so delightfully odd! Covered in a ton of animals (cats, birds, dogs, A BULL?) and a very random assortment of foods and kitchen items. There is even a butcher knife hidden in this print. What are these animals up to!?
Cat Eraser
Finally, our last item is the worlds cutest white kitten eraser. This delightful meow-meow has so much detail, even footie pads! You can use it to erase your daily mistakes, top off your fave pencil, or just make it a non-functional desk accessory, as I did.
Verdict: Zakka Kit was all about cats this month and I am here for it! I absolutely love when stationary and cats are combined, and this box was a lot of fun. My favorite item would be the pink notebook because I love the color, the graph paper is great, and that weird little cat reminds me of my own. I also loved both pens and the mini notecards are too cute. The washi tape was so weird and that is a plus in my book. I also never hate getting stickers and the adorable cat eraser now lives comfortably on my desk. This is my favorite box from this sub yet!
