I am SOOO disappointed ☹️. I paid for an annual subscription this year, and every month I have received all of the things I specifically don’t want. I do understand that it’s “luck of the draw” so to speak- but I just don’t understand the need for 2 face palettes in a few months time. I have the cover FX one from a few months ago, and now the tarte one. The touch in sol primer, now their other primer, and I can’t tell you how many cleansers I have. I was “lucky enough” to also get the whipped cleanser this month too. I guess the lesson here is- never pay for an annual subscription.

Got my box today. I knew I was getting the eyeshadow palette, the primer, and the lipgloss, and am happy with all of those. My variants are the self-tanner (not for me, Boxy), and the lip liner. Meh. I’ll have to compare the lip liner to the ones I have already because it looks like one I just got in Ipsy last month, but will have to double check. Don’t see myself ever using that tanner. I dunno, maybe I’ll get drunk and think it’s a good idea to turn into an Oompa Loompa. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I give this box an A- would have been an A+ but I wanted the purple or blue hairdryer and got the coral and I wanted the Steve Laurant Jelly Highlighter and didn’t get it at all. Pretty good box in my opinion this month 😊

I am happy with my boxycharm for the most part, I really wanted any color hairdryer but the coral and guess what I got the coral. That’s life 🤦‍♀️ 😆
I also wanted the Steve Laurant – Jelly Highlighter but didn’t get it. So hopefully someone wants to swap hairdryers and something for the Steve Laurant – Jelly Highlighter 😊 hope everyone gets what they want this month ( and in the color they want)

Is the Pro-Glow V3 different from the Pro-Glow that’s been out for a while? I got that one in my FFF last year. It looks like this one has 2 blushes instead of all highlighter and contour, but that could just be the lighting.

I received an email yesterday with three spoilers for my box and I’m getting;
– Tarte eyeshadow palette, which I was excited for until I read the comments on here.
– No Porblem primer
– Dominique Cosmetics lip gloss in Peach Tea

I hope the last two are the tanning item and any of the masks.

I’m excited about the primer. I may try the Tarte eyeshadow with my creamy eyeshadow as a primer.

I’d really like that Steve Laurent highlighter but I’ve seen like four ppl on YouTube unbox theirs and get it…hoping that doesn’t mean it’s one of the super limited products:/ I like everything else except the sunless tanner. Sunless tanner just makes this super pale redhead look scary!

I’m getting the blush palette which I am glad for but I am still digging last months blush A LOT, so I don’t think u can get the highlighter unless u get the shadow palette

You have a good chance of getting it. Idk if you have Iosy, but the regular $10 glambag getz Steve Laurent items all the time. Someone on reddit pointed out how it is a filler item for subscription boxes and its meant to sound like “Yves St. Laurent ” so people think that it is a high end brand. Which I totally agree with.

Here is one comment from a Reddit post talking about the “indie” brands in ipsy, it carries over to boxycharm because now they are carrying Bang Beauty and Steve Laurent in their $21 box, as opposed to Ipsy carrying the products in the $10 glambag:
“I looked it up yesterday DLS is the parent company for bang beauty and Steve Laurent. They’re all owned by this woman Emanuela defranco I think was her last name. I don’t want any of their products now because they’re exactly the same just with a different sticker on top.” Which is true, they REALLY are the same product with just a different label and color to the packaging. I have received bang beauty & steve laurent blushes.

Im disappointed in boxycharm. I cant wait to see how much they say the highlighter is worth though.

I think boxy is concentrating more on Boxylux BOX than regular boxycharm box. I received Tarte eye shadow pellets for the third time . Really????????
You guys need to get your game right..Because its really disappointing to receive the same item again and again.

Also receiving items for fair skin tone while i m medium skin tone.
I refereed to many of my friends but I noticed its getting worse since beginning of 2019.

l feel like the regular boxycharm box is the ‘left over’ of boxylux.

If I start getting repeats I’m done. I specifically order this box to try new products.

Please pay little attention to your regular Boxycharm subscriber !!

Since there’s no thread yet for Boxyluxe sneak peak, I’m hijacking this thread (sorry about this)
But I’m signed up for Boxyluxe for a while now and got charged for it as usual 3 days ago. And I just got their sneak peak email today and they are sending me 3 items from the regular box? I’ll be getting the Tarte pro glow palette, the Noporeblem prime essence et the Dominique Cosmetics lipgloss? Nothing else from the spoilers besides the Tarte palette that all members are getting?
Anyone has the same issue?

Everyone (both Boxyluxe and regular Boxycharm) gets three base items. There are full spoilers listed for Boxyluxe on MSA and all 3 of the items from the email are listed as spoilers.

Yes, me too. I emailed back and asked if I was not getting the Boxyluxe, but I haven’t heRd from them. They did withdraw the additional amount for Boxyluxe from my checking account, though.

I was going to post this question earlier when I got the spoiler email but was super busy at work. Looks like I am not the only one confused!

A few days ago, I got the we are sorry we charged you sales tax email. Then I got another email about shipping soon with note at the bottom that says sign up for boxyluxe. Then today I got the spoiler email for a 5 item box. I was definitely charged for boxyluxe and I am active. Those three items spoiled are in both boxes so maybe it was just sloppy communications on their part. I do hope that is the palette spoiled to me is the one I get since I have the blush and glow palette.

Same here! Glad I am not the only one! It says I am active for BoxyLUXE and i was charged for boxyluxe 31$ and then boxycharm $29 (I forget the exact sums). So if I am getting the regular box, I will be pissed!

I got a spoiler email from them like you guys did and I see 5 items instead of the 8 or 9 products.

Yes. I received the same email. I emailed them, but so far, no response. It shows the basic contour palette (I wanted the bright blush), the primer and tea lemonade lipgloss (yay…more brown). I hope that those aren’t the items that I’m receiving, because I will be super bummed.

I got an email about 30 minutes ago with 3 reveals and I’m good with it so far. I got the cheek palette, the primer essence, and a lip gloss. All of those are useable to me. I’m relieved to not see any just highlighter or a matte friggin liquid lip. So I’m good with this.

I got the same email but I know I’m receiving the Luxe box since I have my tracking # and the box weighs 4.1 lbs. I am wondering if the items shown are still correct. I hope not. It shows I’m getting the Tarte Pro Glow palette and I just won’t use it. Really hoping for the shadow palette.

You could have chosen which of the palettes you wanted. They sent us Luxe subscribers an email with a date and time window to pick which palette you wanted. After the window was closed, I guess they just started randomly choosing.

They responded to a comment on Instagram. If you were billed for Luxe, you will get it and it will include the three items in the sneak peek.

I got the same reveal, only I’m supposed to get the Luxe box, as I’ve been subscribed since the first box. They have no clue what they’re doing. I had to email them and hope that I get a response.

I got that same email too and am getting the Luxe box. It didn’t even click that the email was referring to the regular box, and that only 5 products were shown (I guess it’s been a long day). It seems like everybody(?) got this same email. However, I did just notice that my shipping email does say, “Have you heard about BoxyLuxe?” as if I’m not subscribed to it already. It’ll be interesting to see what I actually get, because they definitely did charge me for the Luxe box. (actually, I have a 2nd charge pending on my card, but I’ll wait to see if it falls off before contacting Boxycharm)

Sooo this months box is alright… Not bad but im sick of alll the repeats… I know nobody gets the same product but I want all of the new spoilers not any of the old spoilers, even if I haven’t received it. Thats the ONLY part that I do not like!!!!!!!!

I miss the early boxycharm when they started out and everything was makeup. That’s the reason I subscribed. Now they are just like fab fit fun with lifestyle products etc. Yes, the value is there and you get a lot of stuff for what you pay but I joined for the makeup. It looks like a lot of companies are going that way. Boxy has grown a lot and maybe thst what everyone wants but I find that I wind up giving most of it away to friends and just keep a few items

I’ve been with them 4+ years. I miss when everyone received the same items, only in different colors. I also liked when promises were made and kept. We were told that we would never receive repeat items. Now, it happens monthly. The company was transparent and open. Now, we can’t even get answers on why the shipping time frame has changed drastically.

Same here. It keeps getting worse. I signed up for Ipsy and my first box is amazing.

Boxy isn’t honest. I purchased an item from the charm shop on 5/3 and it never shipped. I emailed them a week or two ago. They told me it would be in June’s Boxyluxe. I got the shipping notification on Monday and it arrived today. It was shipped in an envelope. I seriously thought my box was here, since they told me it would arrive in my box. Then there’s the email about us getting our box at the end of the month and they aren’t acknowledging our questions. To top it off, I just got a spoiler email. It’s for the basic box. I’ve received Boxyluxe since the first box and I paid for it this month. I had to email them and hope that they respond to me. I don’t understand how a company with over a million subscribers ($21,000,000+ a month) can’t afford customer service agents.

Well, I am receiving my first boxyluxe this month, and I’m excited! Also, if I were receiving the standard box this month, I would still be excited. I think this is a nice combination of products for a summer box, and any of the variations pictured have a great assortment of new items and brands to the box.

I think I will cancel boxycharm, and I am sad to say so. I just subscribed few months ago, but so far I have gotten 2 regular boxes and have had problems or dissapointments with both. First box was April FOMO box and even though I got the famous IT cream, the whole inside box was covered in some kind of grey dust and I really felt like I was not a valued customer. Also in the same box my Kat Von Dee lipstick package was really old and ripped looking and my BangBeauty liner was inside its own package with an open lid and completely dried. I contacted the CS and they were okey, but requested pictures of everything and I found them to be a little difficult – like I would just write to them to be difficult and lie? The next box was good and I got perfect shade in my blush, but also received the odd biography eye pencil that felt a bit of a cheat on their part. I will see how my Boxyluxe will turn out, but not likely to continue based on my CS experience. If they would have just been apologetic and given me few charms, I would have been happy, but now I have to send them all this “evidence”, download pictures and I already tossed away the Boxycharm parcel and they need a picture of that as well and I am just not really into this hassle at all…Disappointed.

I am right there with you. I have had a horrible experience so far, I have been told I should have signed up a year or so ago… they were amazing then. The products are okay, some are pretty cheap in my opinion. Customer service is horrible, and the charm room is a joke. Right now I literally have the choice between 4 colors of straighteners and one highlighter… nothing else. I don’t think I will keep this subscription at all.

It had 3 of the $16 morphe palettes from the March Luxe box, the mini straighteners from the December Luxe box and 1 $7 loose highlighter from colour pop (Becky G).

When they first opened up the charm room, there were 2 morphe palettes to choose also, but they were gone within 30 minutes. So the items you are seeing is what’s left over. That’s how fast things sell out in the charm room. I had a palette in my cart and it sold out before I could purchase it.

What’s the deal with the OLD filler products?! Those items were in boxes at least 6 months ago and people hated them then. Many people have also expressed that they like masks, but not sheet masks, yet that’s all we seem to get. Why aren’t they listening? I’ve been with Boxy 4+ years and I’m about to cancel. Before they grew to 1 million+ subscribers Joe made promises that he has broken over again. He promised that they would never send repeat items or we’d receive another item in our next box, yet sending repeat items has become the regular. They’re more about getting new customers, than retaining the ones that they have.

I get at least 3 emails a month since I cancelled in Dec, asking me to come back. Why? To get repeats of things they have already sent? No thanks. Still trying to swap out the duplicate Note blush from last time they sent it.

I am a new Boxy subscriber (May was my first box – got the Milk blur stick and LOVE it) so I’m one of the few pleased with this month. I’m getting the Luxe box for June but I actually am hoping for the Rainforest of the Sea palette because I got the contour palette from FFF. I do a subtle nude shimmer wash and brown felt tip liner with mascara almost every day and this palette would be a good inducement for me to step it up a little. I do see how one could get overloaded with makeup FAST.

A few weeks ago, I received an email from them asking what I would pick if I had a choice between the Tarte blush, highlighter, or eyeshadow. I chose the eyeshadow. I received confirmation back that my box will have the eyeshadow. So I’m excited.
