The Delicate Black Pearl Beauty by Rahab's Rope, India - Estimated Value $20 (value based on similar earrings)

This month's earrings are so beautiful! They are made from black freshwater pearls on sterling silver wire, and they are just so elegant. They feel so luxe and high quality, too. I love black pearls, they're just really unique and pretty. These were made by women from Rahab's Rope, an organization in India that helps victims of sex trafficking.

Fair Trade Friday Earring of the Month April - 2019 Bonus

BONUS: Pearl Cord Bracelet by Rahab's Rope, India

This bracelet is simple and pretty. I love pearls! This pearl was also purchased from Rahab's Rope, and the bracelets were assembled locally. The idea behind this gift is to wear it to remind yourself of women around the world who are struggling to regain their freedom. I will wear it to remind myself also of the many people in the world who are currently joining them in that fight.

The Verdict: I have been a huge fan of Fair Trade Friday Earring OTM Club for a long time now! This month's earrings are so beautiful! I know I will wear them many, many times. I also think this month's charity is a really important one as human trafficking is such a big global problem. And of course, I am really happy with the value this month - an estimated $20 pair of earrings and bonus bracelet in a $13 package!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the June box. Order by the 15th of each month to get that month’s box.

Halo

I was all set to sub but then read their mission statement. It feels wrong to sub a club that openly supports Christianity while excluding other beliefs. I’d far prefer to purchase directly from Rahab’s and leave religion out of the mix.

That’s one thing I love about them…to each their own.

Thanks for posting this. I also prefer to go directly to the source rather than support an exclusive religion.

Looks like an incredible subscription!
Do you get to chose metal colors or any colors?

I would love to subscribe but running the risk of getting gold tones isn’t worth it to me -will definitely look at the site for the charity featured – seems like a perfect thing to gift as we get to graduation season!

In my experience with them they don’t do much gold. It’s occasionally done. This sub was worth it to me and I love their mission statement.
