Disney's The Good Dinosaur Color & Play Book - Retail Value: $8.99
The first item I pulled out of the box is this Good Dinosaur coloring book. The cool thing about this is that you can download an app, scan your kid's coloring, and create a 3D model on your phone. I hadn't heard of that before! Pretty interesting.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Coloring Book - Retail Value: $5.99 (similar product found here)
There is another coloring book, this time a Mickey one. These are great to take to restaurants, traveling, etc., or even just to whip out for a minute of quiet play. My toddler isn't quite old enough for the mazes and other activities in the book, but he won't mind drawing over top of them.
Crayola Paint Your Own Suncatcher Kit - Estimated Retail Value: $1.50
My kid's never actually done these before but I remember having fun with them when I was little. The only thing is that the info sheet suggests bringing this as a busy activity at a restaurant or airplane, and I really don't think paint is going to be a good choice in either of those places, so we'll do it at home or at my parents' home.
Wanu Watermelon Raspberry Beverage - Estimated Value: $2 (Buy a 12 pack for $23.99)
Wanu is like a flavored water, but it also has fiber, only 10 calories, and only 2 carbs, due to sweetening with stevia. This tastes okay. I'm not a big flavored water fan, so it may just not be my cup of tea. The flavors feel very sweet and not quite as fresh or crisp and I was hoping.
Belli Beauty Eye Brightening Cream Revitalize, 0.5 fl oz - Retail Value: $29
Belli Beauty is a brand that makes "skincare for pregnancy, motherhood, and beyond," which mostly means that it's safe from ingredients that are questionable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. This is a nice, basic eye cream. It feels hydrating and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or greasy. I've only been using this for a couple of days since getting the box, and I don't have much of an issue with particularly dark circles, so I can't say I've seen much of a difference in that way, but I have enjoyed this with my morning or night skincare routine.
The Mane Choice Juicy Orange Fruit Medley Kids Shampoo, 8 oz - Retail Value: $10.99
This children's shampoo smells amazing! Very fruity and fragrant. It also contains a detangler, which is not as much of a need for my boys' hair as it is for kids with longer hair, but it still helps their hair feel nice and soft. It also has safe ingredients for children.
Eve Hansen Antioxidant Sheet Mask, 5 pack - Retail Value: $20.98
I love that I got a whole box of masks! These are nice masks. I don't generally love sheet masks but these aren't messy and feel lightweight on my face and not like I'm fighting to keep them from slipping off every few seconds. They had a slight cooling feeling and left my skin feeling really soft!
Purlisse Green Tea + Vitamin C Brightening Sheet Mask, 6 pack - Retail Value: $36.00
Another whole box of sheet masks! I've tried this mask from Purlisse before, and I know I really like it. This mask is infused with green tea, vitamin C, and restorative Asian botanicals to deliver antioxidants and minerals to your skin. Green tea is an ingredient which improves skin elasticity while vitamin C brightens. My dry skin responds well to Purlisse products, so I know I'll use this whole box.
Gorjana Mini + Me Pink Tassel Bracelet Set - Retail Value: $65 (found here for $29.97)
These bracelets are cute. They are made of pink string and have a gold bar, tassels at the end, and little "I Heart U" charms on the ends. They're sweet, but I have two boys and will probably pass these along to someone with a child who likes bracelets.
Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain in Siren - Retail Value: $24
I've received this product in various colors from several different boxes over the years. I do like it, though. This is designed to be a primer, lipstick/gloss, and stain all in one. I think it works well for me - it applies well and has a decent lasting power. This blue/red shade definitely makes it easy to throw on a bold lip, which I firmly believe makes everything better.
Lumene Nordic-C Pure Glow Cleansing Balm, 4.2 oz - Retail Value: $14.99
I've never tried a product from this brand, so this is a new discovery for me. This cleanser is vegan and really gentle! It has a lighter, almost gel-like texture to it and lathers easily. Once washed off, my skin feels clean and soft, not tight and stripped. I'm excited to see how my skin likes this after using it for a few days in a row!
Raw & Co Breathe Aromatherapy Roller, Happy Hippy Scent - Retail Value: $15
This aromatherapy rollerball contains sweet almond oil, sweet orange, ylang-ylang, patchouli, and lavender. It smells really nice and grounding, and I can see this being a nice scent to focus on while taking a breath and relaxing for a moment.
Verdict: My first Moms + Babes box was a really fun box to unpack! They promise every box will have a value of $150+, and this box has a total value of approximately $234.50 from what I could find. I like the mix of kids products and mom products. My only (minor) gripe is I wish there were not two whole boxes of sheet masks, and two different coloring books. While these will get used, I think they could have included some other kinds of products instead. All that said, though, I am not unhappy with anything they sent. Aside from the Wanu beverage (which is a low-value item and due to my personal taste preference) and gifting the bracelets, everything in this box will definitely get used!
