Sunday Riley Subscription Box Summer 2019 Spoiler #1!

I just signed up for this sub with the travel box so will I get this one? I love this sub!!! Unique and useful items!

I am confused. I got the Love Box in March (that is when I signed up) then the travel box in May. When I got the e-mail about making my shade selection I checked my account thinking their can’ Be another box coming already! Sure enough my account shows future shipping dates are September 7 and December 7. So I e-mailed for clarification and was tod it was the Summer Box being released July 7. I don’t understand because I just got the Travel box last month and assumed it was the Summer Box. Can anyone help me understand this? What is the timing of these boxes? I thought 4 times a year, every three months.

I have the tanning drops from one of the Sephora favorites kits, and I really like it. I’ve tried a few self-tanner products, and always end up looking gross and smelling bad. I mostly use these on my face since I always have an spf on my face and tend to have a tan arms/white face thing going on in the summer.

Even if you don’t particularly need self-tanner (as in, a POC) I think these could be helpful if you have issues with uneven skin tone.

I’m not a self-tanner user (though I am ghostly pale) but I like that this is an additive and that you can control how much product you use. I’ll give it a whirl, for sure. I want to point out that if you subscribe to the quarterly box, it brings the cost down to $85.50 per box (shipping included) and you do NOT have to pay for a year of boxes up front. The last box, the Travel Box, was Uh-mazing and I used several items on my recent vacation. So, yes, it’s one of the more expensive subscriptions but worth it, in my humble opinion.

I was glad to get the email that allowed me to choose fair, since I am, indeed like a lighthouse beacon. I can choose how many drops and to which products that I decide to add it. There have been lots of stuff that I didn’t want or need, too, in boxes. At least this box gave a spoiler. It’s the boxes that wait until after charging that bother me.

This is my favorite sub box ever (of all the ones I subscribe to) but I already have a lot of self tanner I repeatedly forget to apply in the am. Hopefully the other spoilers are great.

Umm, say what? No way! $95? Nope!

I have been pleased with the last two boxes and I like the idea of putting ‘tanning’ drops into my lotion. Lets see what the next few spoilers are :).

As long as there isn’t a towel, I am IN.

I will say I got the spoiler email last week and not really excited. Fingers crossed for the rest of the box otherwise I need to cancel before it renews in early September!

Yeah, no. This feels oddly out of place without even seeing the other items included. I feel Tanning Oil is not a universal thing. Lifestyle boxes should stick to universal things. Yes, you can argue that eyeshadow palettes aren’t quite universal either, but palettes can be repurposed, it’s just pigment. It can become a blush or highlighter or you can scrap it out and add a lil oil and make it lipstick or paint.

Pass.

I HATE self tan stuff in Summer boxes. As a Latina, I don’t need a tan from a bottle.
