This is a review of the May Monthly Bundle. FYI –this is sold out now, but you can buy their June bundle here.

TONYMOLY May 2019 Monthly Bundle Review
This box doesn't come with an info sheet, but just like last month, I received some pretty adorable samples.
I also received a cute set of stickers!
The items this month came in a clear plastic tote, which I didn’t give much thought. Later, though, I noticed the sweet words at the bottom of the bag and thought it was absolutely lovely.
I’m Real Sheet Mask in Avocado – Estimated Value $3 (buy 2 for $6)
This is your basic, no-frills sheet mask, but I enjoy reaching for them. They’re pretty saturated with serum and they’re cooling on my skin, which is especially welcome now that we are in the warmer months. When my skin feels like it needs a little extra TLC I like applying a nourishing face oil before layering one of these sheet masks on top to make a hydration sandwich for my skin to eat up.
I’m Real Sheet Mask in Aloe – Estimated Value $3 (buy 2 for $6)
This is the same basic mask as the avocado one, only it’s made with aloe! It’s simple, but my skin likes it.
Layering Sheet Mask in Green Tea – Retail Value $5.50
The layering masks from TONYMOLY are quickly becoming a favorite of mine. They are a two-part mask, with the first part being targeted patches you place wherever your skin needs extra love and the second part being a sheet mask you lay on top. In this version, the patches are actually in the shape of green tea leaves, and the top ingredients include green tea water, green tea extract, and niacinamide. The sheet mask you layer on top also has green tea water as the first ingredient, and my skin felt so hydrated and happy once I was done wearing this. If you have any “slice” sheet masks laying around, you can create your own layered sheet masks by layering a sheet mask on top of the slices, too!
Master Lab Sheet Mask in Centella Asiatica – Estimated Value $4.50 (buy 2 for $9)
Since I have sensitive skin, I am always happy to use products that have Centella Asiatica, which is known for being soothing and healing (it is also called tiger grass because injured tigers would roll in it to soothe battle wounds and injuries!). Because of that, though, I was bummed to see this mask had alcohol higher up on the ingredients list than the Centella. This was still soothing to my skin, but I try to avoid products that have alcohol on the ingredients list before the beneficial ones.
Painting Therapy Mask in Yellow, Full-Size! Retail Value $6.50
I am holding out hopes that I will eventually have every color of the painting therapy masks and then I will be able to create a masking rainbow. This yellow version is hydrating thanks to sweet almond oil and almond seed powder, and this is officially the second color I own out of the five offered.
Magic Food Mild Mango Sun Block, Full-Size! Retail Value $19.50
Unless you are spending all day in a pillow fort, you really should be applying sunscreen every day- and if you haven’t found one that you can actually commit to applying every day, keep trying new ones! This sunscreen has a light mango scent that I only really smell as I rub it in, and it felt hydrating and not like a typical greasy sunscreen. I enjoy the mango-shaped container, and this performed well under my BB cream and powder foundation.
This is about how much sunscreen I apply to my face- how much do you usually use?
Green Apple Lip Balm, Full-Size! Retail Value $10
It is shaped like an apple, it tastes like an apple, and it has apple fruit extract. This lip balm feels nourishing to my lips and the moisture lasts a while, plus I love having a tiny apple in my purse- it really isn’t that hard to please me sometimes. I don’t see myself paying $10 for this lip balm in the future, but I hope to see more in the monthly bundles from Tony Moly.
Panda’s Dream Hand Cream, Full-Size! Retail Value $12
Speaking of more adorable packaging that makes me squeal, hello you cute little hand cream. This is made with Manuka Honey and bamboo sap, and while it provides strong hydration I didn’t feel like my hands were greasy after using. Definitely start with a little bit and grab more if needed, though.
Vita Vita 12 Jelly Cleanser, 0.5 oz? - Estimated Value $1.80 (buy the full-size version for $18)
This sample didn’t have the size listed on it, but I am estimated it to be about half of an ounce based on other samples. The Vita Vita 12 range is the newest product line from TONYMOLY, and this cleanser is made with both spirulina and chlorella to purify skin without stripping it of the natural oils. If you are sensitive to coconut oil or allergic to eggs I would probably stay away from this though- it has both coconut oil and egg whites.
The Chok Chok Green Tea Special Kit – Estimated Value $7.08 (based on the sizes of the included products)
This kit includes the green tea watery essence, watery toner, and watery moisture cream. I have tried the Chok Chok line before, and I am happy to have this full mini skincare routine to throw in my gym bag. Green tea is great for hydrating and soothing your skin, so this set is perfect after a workout and time in the sauna.
The Verdict: The monthly bundles from TONYMOLY are fast becoming one of my favorite boxes to receive- the combination of full-sized products, cute minis, and fun packaging is hard to beat if you are a K-Beauty fan. Value-wise, they came up short of the promised value of $92, because I calculated a total value of $72.88. I still think this is worth the cost, however, if K-Beauty is your thing!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but you can buy the June bundle!
