Wantable Fitness Edit April 2019 Review
When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size, and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. This is a note from my stylist. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.
This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $384. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $96.80. That's a deep discount!
Ombre Keyhole Tee by ACTIVEZONE - Cost to Keep $38
It's official! This is my new favorite activewear top! I am positively in love with the color and the ombre effect on this cotton knit tee. The fact that it's a natural fiber is also fantastic! Usually when a top is described as "keyhole" it refers to an opening in the front of the neckline, but in this case, the openings are along the yoke in the back. That's so interesting and different! I love it!
7/8 Recreation Tight by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $88
These stripe-y leggings are so sporty! The colors are really nice, too. Unfortunately, I was kind of mortified to realize that they are a bit sheer! Not so much in the front, but definitely in the back. It is not a good look for me.
Training Jacket by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $94 (found here for $56)
I did receive this box right at the end of April, however, it is currently 84 degrees at 10 am here in Georgia. I do not need any jacket right now. I don't usually need any help warming up during a workout, and definitely not during the late spring and summer. In fact, I don't ever really buy outerwear after February. This is a nice jacket though, and I like the mesh detail in the back. I also love a thumb hole! I just don't need anything like this until about October.
Solid V-Neck T-Shirt by ACTIVEZONE - Cost to Keep $36
You can't really go wrong with a basic cotton tee as far as I'm concerned! I like the open neckline on this one a lot, and the cuffed sleeves are sewn in that way, so that's a cute detail also. The fabric is also very lightweight, which is of course much appreciated in this heat! I am not usually a big fan of pink, but this shade is vibrant enough for me to embrace.
Legging With Side Detail by ACTIVEZONE - Cost to Keep $50
These leggings are awesome! I love the pink twist detail on the calf, and the grey and pink combination is fantastic, especially with the pink tee. They are a cotton blend, so they have a nice natural fiber feel, and they are completely opaque. They also have pretty good compression. I love these!
Short Sleeve Printed Tee by ACTIVEZONE - Cost to Keep $32
I have to admit that I am not in love with this tee. I sometimes like color blocking, but this particular pattern is not my favorite. The back is solid black. I do like the v-neck, though, and the natural fiber feel. Overall, I do not think it is a particularly flattering top.
Yoga Capri by ACTIVEZONE - Cost to Keep $46
These are really great, basic capri yoga pants. They are perfect for summer! They are a cotton blend knit with a good amount of stretch. I love colorful leggings, but everyone needs good, solid basics like these.
The Verdict: I am a big fan of Wantable Fitness Edit, and I enjoy building such a fun workout wardrobe! This month, my favorite items were the purple ombre tee and the pink twist leggings. They were both so cute! I also love that Wantable sends seven items because it's just more fun to try seven items than your standard five.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual's preferences as well as what's available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside was $384. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $287.20 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s a savings of about 25%. The average price per piece is $54.86.
