Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!
The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co June 2019 Review
Here is that adorable Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month!
Also enclosed is this thoughtful message from my month’s stylist, Katie! I gave loads of feedback on last month’s box and my stylist was open to it all! Here she provides some styling tips. Did you read what I read? BETSEY JOHNSON DRESS! Oh, yes! I am so excited to try on the selections from Katie, it isn’t even funny!
The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, style name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren’t listed, but the total would be $401.50. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $286.12! The savings would be $115.38 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That would be like getting the Betsey Johnson Rosemont dress for free! What a deal!
Rosemont Chiffon Long Sleeve Dress by Betsey Johnson Size 22 — Retail Value $99
You guys, I am so excited to have received not one, but TWO of the Betsey Johnson x Dia & Co dresses! Ever since I saw the press on these dresses I have been pining away for them! I am a long time Betsey Johnson fan, so I was immensely excited for this line! I absolutely love Betsey’s quirky and eccentric kitsch meets punk meets princess style aesthetic. This dress has such a fantastic retro style that I adore. The blue background with the eye-popping yellow roses is absolutely stunning! The chiffon material is so light and airy, even on terribly humid days I could get away with comfortably wearing this long sleeve dress. I also adore the pussy bow neckline and the ruffles at the sleeves and hem. I styled this gorgeous number with gold sequin geometric dangly earrings and gold glitter jellies to enhance the color palette of this dress. Wear this at the office or on a date with your honey—this number will be a hit wherever you go!
Tobi Bowtie Top by Leota Size 2x – Retail Value $65
Katie already knows I am a sucker for anything that looks like it could be from the '60s or '70s, so of course I love this top! Leota is a brand I became familiar with through my subscription box reviews. What I appreciate about Leota is their dedication to offering pieces that truly accentuate and celebrate the female form. The fabric generally has ample stretch and the cuts of the piece make them fit like a glove. This top is no different and the fit and style is fantastic—something that is true to any Leota piece. I styled this retro top with the Jessica Simpson jeans Katie included for me and the same fierce gold accessories I paired with the Rosemont dress. I also appreciate that this piece will easily translate to fall: pair it with a tan faux-suede mini skirt, black tights, ankle booties, large rimmed hat, and a black faux-leather biker jacket. Also, style this top with black trousers and heels for an office look that slays all year round!
Roni Ankle Skinny Jean by Jessica Simpson Size 22 – Retail Value $89.50
I typically avoid distressed denim with holes and slits in them, but these pants may be the exception. I am stunned because I often find myself cringing in malls seeing uneven frayed ankles and torn knees. My logic is if I am spending a ton of money for a pair of jeans-- allow me to wear them in and/or destroy them on my own in good time. Oh, how things have changed! I think what I like most is the contradiction of the neat, clean, precise striping on the jeans against the tears and crooked, frayed ankles. It somehow works well together. In addition, these jeans are incredibly comfortable with just enough stretch. They pairs fantastically with the LEOTA top, but will look amazing with a baggy, vintage sleeveless band shirt and sneakers as well.
Christina ¾ Sleeve Cardigan by Belldini Size 2x — Retail Value $59
When I first unboxed this cardigan, I was unsure of its style. This psychedelic rainbow design marries a Timothy Leary acid trip with Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company’s style very well—but is it me? This cardigan fits more like a kimono or robe on me. On top of it being a roomier piece, it has ample stretch as well. I styled the cardigan with a turquoise bodycon dress and yellow Jackie O’-style sunglasses to pull some of the colors out from the rainbow this item features. This definitely is a seasonal piece; I cannot see this translating into cooler weather months whatsoever. I do like the idea of using this as a cover up too at the beach with two of my favorite poolside accessories: a good book in one hand and a Painkiller cocktail in the other.
Sedona Short Sleeve Dress by Betsey Johnson Size 20 – Retail Value $89
Last, but certainly not least, is my favorite item; the pièce de résistance of this month’s selections: the Sedona dress by Betsey Johnson. This dress was the item I was hoping to get the most out of items I push pinned on the Dia & Co site! I know Betsey and I aren’t buds, but this is such a dream dress and feels tailored to me! I adore the vintage floral pattern in pinks and blues with green and white accents against the red background; it is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric has lots of stretch and the cut is perfect. I love a good mini dress, but this one is long enough that I can wear it to the office without being sent to HR for breaking dress code! I tried to amp the eccentric, yet hip quality of Betsey’s designs by pairing this piece with green and white dice earrings and leopard print chunky low heeled platforms. Just add a faux-leather biker jacket or dark denim jean jacket on chillier nights and you are set! Hit up a rock’n’roll show, a museum opening, or brunch: you will be ready for it all in this dress!
Verdict: Holy smokes! This month’s box was one of the best I received in a while from Dia & Co! My stylist, Katie, came through in a big way by including not just one Betsey Johnson in my saved favorites, but TWO dresses I am obsessed with! The Leota top was a thoughtful selection and truly fits my vintage '60s and '70s inspired style as well. The Jessica Simpson jeans were an item I was not expecting to love, but I do. The only item I was remotely on the fence about was the Christina cardigan, but even that item is slowly growing on me. All in all, the June box was a success! I contribute this to my fantastic stylist, Katie, and her attention to detail and openness to my feedback. She mentioned in her note referencing my Pinterest link I sent her along with the saved items I selected in the Dia & Co shop as well! If you weren’t aware, Dia & Co now offers a SHOP NOW option that allows you to select three of the five items in your month’s box! This allows you to get an even more thoughtful and personalized Dia & Co box than ever before! I absolutely love these options and if you subscribe to Dia & Co—definitely take advantage of them! If you aren’t subscribed to Dia & Co: what are you waiting for?

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $401.50. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount.
