The Waterfall Earring by SoloHope, Honduras - Retail Value $15

This month's earrings are really pretty, but I have to say, I am over the threaded tassels trend. When it first started, I thought, OK this is a novelty, and I didn't mind having one or two pairs. I feel like Fair Trade Friday has been sending loads and loads of them in the past couple of years. These are also a little too big for my tastes. These earrings were handmade by the women of SoloHope, a charitable organization that provides sustainable employment and community development in the rural mountains of Honduras.

The Verdict: I have been a huge fan of Fair Trade Friday Earring OTM Club for a long time now, but I am a little disappointed with this month's earrings, to be honest.  f you are a big fan of threaded tassel earrings, you would probably love this subscription. I am always much happier when they send a more unique design. The value of the earrings in this subscription is usually really good, and $13 for $15 earrings is a nice discount.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the August box. Order by the 15th of each month to get that month’s box.

Value Breakdown: This box is $12.99 including shipping. This month's earrings have a retail value of $15. That's a discount of 13%.

I love the idea of this sub, but have never liked the tassel trend. I don’t have any, don’t want any. If they ever get to no more tassels, I’m in.
