Faithbox “Boldness” June 2019 Review
Each box includes an Impact Guide that describes the month’s theme, highlights all the items included in the box, and offers other inspirational content. This month’s theme is “Boldness” and is all about understanding how boldness is rooted in your relationship with God. Faithbox wants to inspire you to live life boldly!

Sally Clarkson is a popular author and conference speaker – the most notable of which is her Mom Heart Conference. Sally, along with her husband Clay, are the founders of Whole Heart Ministries where Sally is the women's ministry director.

There is a section in part one where Sally tackles living in chaos where we're always busy, frenzied, and exhausted. She talks about how this can lead to depression and isolation and how it's not how God intended us to live. I found this 100% relatable!

This scarf is made with locally sourced cotton and non-toxic vegetable dyes. It's made using a Japanese method of dyeing called shibori. This intricate art form has been passed down through generations.
This scarf is bold and beautifully designed. I loved the rich royal purple and the muted almost-peach colors. It’s soft and lightweight – perfect for the summer. I also love the mission behind Matr Boomie. It makes owning and wearing this scarf even more special.
A Gilded Line Custom Cuff Bracelet, Strong & Courageous – Retail Value $14.00
This adjustable aluminum cuff is hand-stamped with powerful words and phrases supported by God's word. You can choose from many of the available phrases or choose your own. Each letter is hand-stamped. Then, the bracelet is painted and polished.
I received the silver cuff stamped with "Strong & Courageous." It's very pretty. I love that it's adjustable and big enough to fit my wide wrists. I don't know that I always feel strong and courageous, but this is a mantra that I can aspire to live by!
Custom Watercolor Art Design – June and July Calendars by Inspired Ink by Madeline – Estimated Value $12.00
These two beautiful custom-designed 5"x 7" calendar cards were created by watercolorist Madeline Harwell. Her cards are hand-drawn, painted, and digitally produced for Faithbox. The June calendar card matches this month’s “Boldness” theme. It quotes Ephesians 3:12: “Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.” The July calendar card matches next month’s “Vulnerability” theme.
Custom Watercolor Art Design – Watercolor Print by Inspired Ink by Madeline – Estimated Value $12.00
Also included is another set of custom-designed 5"x 7" watercolor cards by Madeline. The June themed card features a quote from George Lois which reads: "Better to be reckless than careful. Better to be bold than safe." The July themed card has a quote from Brene Brown: "Vulnerability feels like weakness but looks like strength." I love this quote and the pretty cactus design on the July watercolor card. This is the first month I’ve seen both the current and next month’s calendar and watercolor cards included in the box.

Honest Coffee is a feel-good company with quality coffee like this Be Bold Blend. It has tasting notes of brown sugar, sweet tea, and toffee. Beyond the quality coffee, Honest Coffee prides itself on building relationships with their farmers and paying them premium wages.
I don't have a coffee maker at home - at least not in the traditional sense. Don't judge me! At home, I drink mostly cold brew from refrigerated glass jars or Keurig pods. In the process of trying to figure out how to try this coffee (it smells absolutely delicious by the way), I found a recipe for grounding beans and making cold brew at home. I'm excited to try it out!
Spiritual Inventory

Everyday Faith
The heart and soul of Faithbox is the daily devotional called Everyday Faith. Focused on this month’s theme, Boldness, Everyday Faith offers daily inspirational quotes, scripture and short Bible studies, a call to action, and a declaration. This devotional offers the opportunity to reflect on the month’s topic and spend quality time with God growing your faith.
One of my favorite quotes from this month’s Everyday Faith is from Day 20. It reads: "Fortune Favors the Bold!” This quote resonates with me because I tend to play it safe and operate within my comfort zone. It's only when I've gotten bold and uncomfortable that big things have happened. This is an excellent reminder.
The Verdict: I'm super pleased with this month's box and theme! I've started to look forward to the daily Everyday Faith devotional. It's a great way to start my day intentionally, with purpose, and affirmed. I'm also really enjoying the items included in this month's box – especially the scarf and bracelet. And, the watercolor cards are pretty and meaningful additions to my office.
Faithbox does an excellent job with the curation of quality items box after box. I also love that they partner with companies that have a great mission. For $34.95 a month, I received a book, coffee, other excellent faith-themed goodies, and the Everyday Faith daily devotional. This is an excellent value!
