Flair & Paper “Stuck On You” June 2019 Review
Each box comes beautifully wrapped with a welcoming card introducing the theme for the box as well as an itemization of all the items we received. This month’s theme is "Stuck on You."
Every Flair & Paper box comes with at 4-5 greeting cards with coordinating envelopes. The cards are either horizontal (measuring 4 inches by 5 inches) or vertical (measuring 5 inches by 4 inches) and are blank on the inside for a perfect message or picture.
Stuck on You Greeting Card – Estimated Value $4.00
I like this card; the succulents are so pretty! I love the way the background looks like wood – it's very rustic. This card is paired with a brownish-orange A-style envelope.
Today Is Your Day Greeting Card – Estimated Value $4.00
I love when Flair & Paper sends green envelopes! The green they send is an emerald green and is probably my favorite envelope out of all of them – they are also self-sealed! This card features cactus plants and is really simple. This will make a perfect birthday card for a co-worker and can be gifted with a succulent plant!
I’m So Glad You’re as Weird as Me Greeting Card – Estimated Value $4.00
I love this card! The llama looks super zen while balancing a large cactus plant on his butt. Once, my oldest kid came home and was upset because someone called him weird at school. I explained to him that we are all weird in our own ways and both my oldest kiddos have adopted and accepted their weirdness. This will make the perfect card for one of them (both of them!) for any occasion. The best part about Flair & Paper is that no one card is specific to any holiday. This card is paired with a brownish-orange A-style envelope.
Happy Birthday Greeting Card – Estimated Value $4.00
This is probably my least favorite card received from Flair & Paper ever. It has just a simple Happy Birthday printed in a circle over a ton of cactus plants. It is paired with the brownish-orange A-style envelope that comes with most of our cards. This card is another one that is fitting for a co-worker or acquaintance.
Important Accessory Bag
This little bag is cute but it is pretty small. The size is perfect for a pencil/pen pouch but that is about all. It is a canvas bag, with “Important” printed in gold foil on the front. I like the thick teal stripe on the top and the tassel zipper pull. I put the horizontal card in the bag for a sense of scale. It really is the perfect bag for holding your most important writing utensils.
The Cactus Sticky Notes
One of my favorite items in subscription boxes are sticky notes. I use them so often and run through them pretty quickly. These are a pretty good size and are great for little notes but I will probably use them primarily for bookmarking certain pages in files for future reference.
Cactus Washi Tape
I love receiving new washi tapes and really love this one. It has different cacti in different pots.
Monthly Calendar
Every month, I receive a monthly calendar page from Flair & Paper. This month, it is June’s and I am absolutely loving the background of it!
Verdict: Flair & Paper is one of my favorite stationery subscriptions. The items normally include 4-5 greeting cards and have extra items that all center on a theme. This month’s theme is really a lot of fun, especially since we have recently started a succulent garden and stop to look at them every day to check for growth and changes. My favorite part about this box, though, are the greeting cards. This month, I received 4 cards, at an estimated $4 per card for a total of $16.00. I received 3 additional items with the pencil pouch, sticky notes and washi tape which are definitely more than $1 each. The value in this box is estimated to be right on.
